Am I crazy, or wasn't there talk recently about a new site that would host mp3 downloads for free and all the record companies were ok with it because it had massive advertising like myspace? Maybe I just dreamed that up? any links?

Do a search, I remember a thread about it a month ago or so. The company is called qtrax I believe.

Or you could just use google to hack index.of sites and DL MP3s and just about any other file type that way.
