In my area we do a trivia night. Sometimes we have nerdy catagories and I'm in charge of putting together a Street Fighter catagory. I wanted to get corrections from you guys as well as suggestions. Keep in mind these questions are not intended for SRK users, but rather 20-30 year olds who like trivia. As a result, these questions are going to look really easy and stupid to most of us, but remember not everyone at these trivia night's is a nerd... and some of them are even... women.

Heres what I have so far and I would like some from you guys.


1)In Street Fighter the Movie (the movie) what Australian pop star played Cammy?

Well yeah it did stand for Mike when M.Bison was the boxer, but in the States (and all places where M.Bison is the dictator) the "M" is offically for "Master".

They are not hard. I bet most of srk knows that shit, or at least they should.

I think people would remember ryu's master's name over what random actress played cammy in sf2 the movie. Especially considering no one has ever been able to make it all the way through to the credits without spontaneously combusting.

BTW, Eagle's cvs2 design is based on Freddy Mercury from queen. He was also gay, hence Eagle's sexuality. Not to mention most of his lines/moves are based on queen songs e.g. "No time for losers." (see: We are the champions)

Some of it is a little hard, but most should be child's play. I mean it IS trivia after all, there's plenty of games that ask people shit about history that NO ONE outside of the largest nerds in the universe know, and yet they still manage to have fun by learning something new.

If these are just random 20 to 30 year olds, and not necessarily fighting game nerds, then probably all of those questions are gonna be way too hard.

Most of the time, if I'm in a group of people, and an old video game topic gets brought up that people start reminiscing about .. if they were just pretty much average kids that played games but aren't necessarily into them now or are still just casual, they're just gonna have a pretty base level of memory on it. Like they'll prolly remember who Ryu is, or that a fat sumo guy had a headbutt that went across the stage, or the guy with huge hair who flip kicked people in the face .. but anything deeper than that might be too much. Unless, these are really hardcore trivia buffs, than maybe they'll do better, I dunno.

And Akuma DID have SGS/Raging Demon in the SSF2T; It was only in the home version, and you had to check the dipswitches.

It would appear that her father's body was never found nor buried, even though her father got a grave. Chun-Li didn't even know for sure that he was dead until Bison told her he killed her father at the end of SFA2. At the end of SFA3, she remarks that she feels her father's still alive, apparently trying to cling to the old adage of "If you don't see him actually die, he's still out there some where". I'd be extremely surprised if he were alive, though. Ditto for Charlie for whom Guile says the same thing.

Ok for all the people saying the Raul Julia and Kylie Minogue questions are too hard. Raul Julia was in a lot of other movies guys. He wasn't just M.Bison. In fact people were amazed that such an awesome actor was willing to do such a shit movie. And Same with Kylie Minogue. Shes like the Madonna of Australia. If I ask you to name an Australian pop artist, Kylie Minogue and maybe ABBA should be the first things that come to mind.

Haggar shows up in Guy's background in Alpha 2. Belgar is an acceptable answer, I think. You could also use the male sprite swap for Poison and Roxy.
