I have to admit I haven't really seen if there are or not in the videos I've watched.

I hope there are close range punches and kicks. I find a character who doesn't have them to be really basic. I like the variety in attacks even if the properties don't change from their regular attack.

I'm pretty sure that *everyone* has close and far attacks, based on the gameplay videos I've seen. Check out the gameplay demos by Seth Killian on Gamespot. You'll see Guile's old close upside-down roundhouse kick, Chun Li's close and far standing fierce, and other things to support my first statement.

That oughta do it for this thread.

Uh buhhhhh?

Seriously, either I'm retarded or you have a fucked up definition of what a close range move is.

What's the command for doing Guile's overhead? I'm wondering if anyone has a link to a video that demo's it.

I think he means close versions of normals. Like how a shoto fierce turns into an uppercut when you're close enough to the opponent's hitbox.

Can't recall seeing any yet. Might have something to do with the players just not getting around to it, or maybe the 3D hit detection is causing problems.

Edit: Nevermind, FreshOJ already said that first part. Guess I haven't been paying enough attention to the videos. I wonder if that means something.

Forward + three kicks. He had that in Super Turbo. He'll go through you even if you're standing still. Usually followed by gnawing on opponents head.
