So I've heard that this stick, which works for ps2, xbox, and cube, does not work on slim ps2s.

There are two versions of it that I've noticed though, one with the cord bay, and one without. I wondered, were these internally different? Would one work on a slim ps2, and the other not? Or does one just not work and the other burn the dumb things out?

The one I had worked on my slim PS2. From what I remember reading the burnout happens if you play on XBox then on a PS2, because the voltage from the XBox is higher. I don't know if this is 100% true but that's what I remember reading awhile ago. I had the one with the cord storage area.
