We have a Brawl channel on IRC on EFNET for live matchmaking, chatting, etc at

Go there and find people to play and talk with your fellow brawlers!


How to get there:

1) You can download mIRC, a free client, and connect to any efnet server, then join channel #srkbrawl


2.) For those of you who can't seem to figure out mIRC and/or would like something a little cleaner...and you happen to use Firefox as your browser, I suggest downloading the Chatzilla extension.

You can get it here:

Download it and install it, restart FF, yada yada yada.

To join #srkbrawl on efnet:
-launch chatzilla.
-if your chatzilla is like mine, there'll be an introduction page, with a link to EFnet right next to [INFO]. click that link to join EFnet.
-don't forget to change your handle.
-to join #srkbrawl, in the chat bar at the bottom of the chatzilla window, type in /j #srkbrawl ... a new tab should open up and you should be in our chatroom. Bring your idle ability and your friend codes and get your brawl on!



3.) Or, if you dont want to install any plugins, just go to www.efnet.org and use #srk-brawl as the room. Web based IRC chat with no installs

sounds like you got disconnected from the efnet server you were on. reconnect then join the channel.

well, the more people that use the IRC channel and hang around it and bring more people in, the higher your chances of finding matches.

unfortunately the channel is still small because people want instant gratification. help expand it and encourage more people to use it and hang out in it and maybe one day people can find games whenever they want.

You are either not connecting to EFnet, or the EFnet server you chose is currently net-split with the rest of the EFnet network.

Are you using the chat.efnet, or an IRC program? When I used chat.efnet, at one point it kept giving the message "Access Denied - Too many connections", despite the fact that I'm the only person who uses IRC in the house. If that is the case, a program that I recommend is XChat. So far, it has not given me any problems.

I'm using chatzilla plugin for firefox...it was working a few hours ago then but now i'm getting an error or some shit...augh...I wanna brawl dammit! What else can I use to get into the irc room?

I do. all the time. People in the IRC room are either AFK, playing already, or don't want to play. and there's not many of them in there to begin with. so I figure asking here would be more effective, since I could at least set up a time to play if I don't get to them right away
