"After a receiving a slew of inquiries concerning the Street Fighter IV kit, we called our Japanese distributor to make sure they had the pricing correct. Unfortunately, there was an error in their offer. Please note that Japanese distributors are only allowed to sell the entire network kit which consists of four complete Type-X2 + HDD sets, the VS Communication Kit, four control panels, and 100 Network I.D. cards. Our supplier assumed they would be able to split the kits up and parcel them out one-by-one. Due to the change in terms, we have closed this preorder offer for the time being. If a true single-user kit is made available for preorder, we'll update accordingly. Thanks."

From NCSX. Not quite sure what it means, but they're not taking pre-orders anymore.

It means that the first run of SF4 kits are not just single sets of the game, they can only sell them as a bundle pack--meaning pretty much what an arcade would buy.

4 complete Type-X2 + HDD sets, the VS Communication Kit, four control panels, and 100 Network I.D. cards

I'm sure that the best way to just buy one would be when they distribute single kits or to wait for the tentative American kits that will be in limited distribution probably.

got a email ncs telling me about that my preorder price would most likely change. they gave me the option of cancelling, but i opted to keep my order. i will wait and see how much the total order will turn out to be. my price ceiling is 5000.00, if its more than that, i suppose i will have to wait for the console versions to release:sad:

If I remember correctly, Capcom is not going to sell individual PCB kits for SFIV until after the first month or so.

The only preorders that are up are only for the four set bundle.

I wonder if they do decide to do an NA release if we're going to get the dedicated cab. I like the idea of having the cab to yourself instead of sharing a cab. I like my elbow room lol.

Also what's the deal with this VS. communication kit, are we going to be able to play online at the arcade?

Ono did say in that one interview that "machines in one arcade can communicate with machines in other arcades". :woot:
