Where do you buy your import games?

Kinda curious what companies people use to import their games. I usually use NCS/NCSX, as they've done pretty well for me for a long time (many years of orders and only had one problem ever, which was quickly resolved), but their preorder system is a little... behind the times, and I've wondered if there are any good alternatives. Anyone?

The other stores I've used are Play-Asia (pretty pleased with them, but not a big fan of the longer shipping times since they're in Hong Kong) and Yes-Asia (not game-centric, had issues with an item being out of stock when it was listed as available a while back).

And since the term "import" is very relative, I'm in the US looking to import Japanese games.

Ebay because I'm usually importing Super Famicom games. Hit-Japan has served me well.

It depends on the title and the ratio of bonus items they're offered by their distributors - in my experience, if you pre-order a game pretty early, you usually get them, but if you wait until the last minute your odds are a lot lower. So, um, I guess that makes the answer a not-all-that-helpful "they're pretty good about it but it's not guaranteed."

I got a couple of cool people on eBay I constantly get my imports from. And with the people I deal with, turn around be like 3-5 days tops. And on a couple of occasions caught the "have it before street date deals."

I either find it cheap on eBay or go to one of the local import shops - whichever is cheaper.

Hrm, seems like there aren't any import game stores I haven't heard of then.

I miss the good old days of Game Cave and TronixWeb being around in addition to NCSX. Game Cave had those awesome full-page ads in the back of GameFan that I used as a catalog and such...
