exactly! the custom cars you can make also was a nice bonus for me. Story mode in GX was tough bu...well then again I did beat it on very hard...that and the staff ghosts were hard...2 are nearly impossible! :mad:

last one i played was the one on the n64. I had the gba rom too but didn't play much. It's a good series in term of multiplayer I think, but kinda sucks solo

I love the series if only for the music and characters. It's just too damn hard. I can't even get past the third chapter in story mode on GX. F-Zero has me fucked from the word "go" like Mitt Romney's presidential bid.

I remember when I got to play the F-Zero GX arcade machine with the moving seat n' shit at Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum. My gf was there with me and I almost forgot about her ass. I was like in heaven.

My first F-Zero was Max. Velocity on the GBA. I played that shit to death but no one else around me did :-/. I don't have a GC/Wii so I never got GX. Same with the N64 game. I did pick up the GBA sequel but after playing Wipeout Pure and then going back to that was hard for me. The graphics just make it so hard to see what's coming up until the last second. It feels really trippy.

All the more reason Nintendo needs to get on that shit now. I need a DS F-Zero with 4 player Nintendo Wi-Fi play and a new Wii game despite my lack of a Wii. I want others to experience what I've experienced, breakneck hover car racing.

I have fond memories of going to my friends house when we were kids and playing F-zero and starfox on his snes plus I have it on the VC. I love that game.

GX is FAST, plus the track designs are awesome/frustrating. plus the star fox character was a nice little....thing? I dont know. all I remember is that his car looked like an arwing.

GX is the best hands down. Ive completed the whole game 100% and it was pretty hard.

F-Zero is mos def the shit, though I am partial to Wipeout. I actually didn't know there where so many versions of F-Zero. I have the SNES, GBA, and GC ones, gotta go with the OG SNES though for sure. The GC one I own is like in such great condition because I think I've played it like 3 times, I remember it being pretty tough. Gonna go have to play it some later on.

There is no such thing as a bad F-Zero game, they're all awesome, and it's one of my favorite racing series.
Having said that, F-Zero X on the N64 is easily my favorite. I dig the heavy metal soundrack, the track design, but most importantly, the X-Cup. Tell me, how many racing games have you played that have a random track generator? Yes, the tracks are created at random... How awesome is that shit? Some of the tracks created are insane.

The thing that bugged me about GX is the difficulty. I'm no slouch at F-Zero, I've beat the SNES and N64 games on expert difficulty, but GX is seemingly impossible, whereas the other games are fucking hard, but you know it can be done. Apart from that it's pretty good, but I thought the track design was not as good as X's.

As for the GBA games, I was honestly expecting them to suck, but they pretty much play like a sequel to the SNES game, and that's a very good thing.

I am grid locked between X and GX.

GX was beautiful as all outdoors but X had an insane fun factor going for it. I am leaning toward GX but as I said there was something about X that I can't find in even the most fun GX tracks.
