Honda doesn't really have a good record... gameplay-wise, he's one of the worst-designed characters in ST (dies horribly to fireball characters, slaughters everyone else), boring/crappy in A3, and only interesting in CvS2 thanks to roll canceling... the new overhead shenanigans s-kill talked about sound interesting though...

I use Honda as a secondary in ST and I really hope he's in SFIV and better designed so he can compete equally with everyone.

I love Honda! And I don't think he's poorly designed at all, I think he's actually one of the best designed; who else has to play so radically different depending on the matchup? I think that's pretty awesome. The execution didn't work out so well in SF2, but it won't be too hard to make his bad matches more reasonable and his dominant matches less dominant.

Honda is one of my top favorite characters of all time in SF.

Honda brings balance to the roster in positive ways as opposed to some Alpha, EX, SF3 games where too many cloners, teeny boppers oversaturate the rosters.

Honda has had huge disadvantages against shotos, that is true but that is also partly due to game's structure. Like the SF2s favored fireball traps while Alpha 3 favored combo juggles and took away his headbutts worth because of airblocks.

He my not win any popularity contests but he still blows out of the water any Alpha baby or SF3 freakshow character out of the water in character recognition.

The T in T.Hawk doesn't stand for Thunder or Tony, it stands for Tomo and I don't think even SF4 will bring him back.

I too am a fan of the fatman, Honda paddlefooting your ass FTW.
