Parries weren't enough for 3rd Strike so obviously saving attacks aren't enough for SFIV either. The game will be criticized left and right for being too old school without some new shit. It's a given. If it wasn't added now it would have been in some update any ways. Just the way fighting games are made these days. People wanna see something new. The fact that they are even returning most of the old cast is lucky the way I see it. A different producer could have made SFIV almost completely irrelevant to SF2.

It's obvious that even including one simple mechanic to SF2 changes the way it plays...but only to those that seriously played SF2 back in the day (or still do these days). Other than that...not enough people even understand or even care to understand what high level SF2 played like to deal with only having one or 2 new systems added. That just won't be fresh enough for a lot of gamers that have waited 10 years for a sequel.

From what I remember, Seth Killian killed the argument of Dash Cancelling being removed by confirming that he could still do Dash Cancelling when he played SF4 again. I don't see why this is news and considering its 4/1/08, I'm sure that this is just a cheap ploy at an April Fool's joke.

Yeah...there's already been rumors that Ibuki may make it in a console release of the game. Plus Capcom is doing polls for extra characters to be added to the game and SF3 characters are obviously at the top of the list.

I've also got the FIRST footage of M.Bison (dictator) in SF4. Not only that, but he's also satisfying a camel!
