Do you think this game will be as successful as Street Fighter 3 or not.

Today I had a few burgers and a 5 piece chicken nuggets and a Arizona watermelon drink. $4.20. That's a good deal. Nice meal it was. Hehe. Some of the burger got stuck in the back in between my teeth.

And a bunch of people are gonna buy SFIV.

Financially, not really, but it became a cult classic for good reason.

Successful in terms of what?
Parry? No Way.

No it is just that jap lover cock suckers creamed their pants over Daigo and his uber japanese parry skills.

The other day I bought small tub of Brite Crawlers. Sour gummy worms are too good.

3s blew up before the daigo madness....

3s was a failure. so i would hope sf4 does better. which i think its pretty safe to say, it will do much better, since its getting a lot of hype and media exposure, which sf hasnt had in a very very long time

It will not be as successful IMO. Without Daigo Parry...it just won't be the same.

I believe SF4 has a moderate to extra-moderate chance of success.

I am basing this, of course, on jack shit.

yo, everyone is always saying 3rd strike was a failure. Is there a link that breaksdown all the financial figures that proves this? Im curious how much money 3rd strike made vs other fighters.

It's obviously not gonna be better than 3S, but will it be successful? Who knows.

Nah it's just some people got tired of playing SF2 part 6.

basically 3s came out at the wrong time . by the time 3s came out, US arcades were starting to go on the decline and 2d fighters were considered "played out" by the causal gamers because of the psx and saturn and all that shit. not to mention A3 came out like a little bit after 3s if i'm not mistaken. pretty much 3s didnt make as much money as tekken at that time.

It'll do fine, especially with the mainstream (which is good revenue wise).

3 games all came out right after the other more or less.

MvC1, SFA3 and 3s.

MvC was first and folks loved it, 3s failed hard (at the time) and then SFA3 came out and by that time people were tired of MvC and went to it.

3s didn't get any widespread play till 2002 cause Omaha and Houston players (mostly Omaha) never let it go in the first place.
