knowing srk reading comprehension, ill sum up how it works in 3 sentences since clicking and browsing through websites can be too much work for most. and reading beyond a paragraph is sometimes too much for srk.

how it works:

you have some sort of goal you want to reach.

you moneymatch yourself by putting money on this website, and include friends or spectators to be the judge or even the winners of the money match.

if you do not reach your goal you lose your money (to the people you bet, or through charity, or organizations you might hate).

basically, its a glorified swear jar.

im actually going to use it and drop half my $600 rebate on working out, and the other half on learning how to play this neglected guitar i bought a year ago.

awhile back i actually thought of a business idea similar to this and used a miniature version with some roommates. we all had a set of chores and if someone didnt do their chores twice, theyd have to treat everyone to lunch. so not only did people make sure they did their chores themselves, everyone else was playing warden and keeping an eye out for anyone who messed up because hell, it was a free meal.

yea i'd usually just do it between friends and not on a big website. it makes the website some money though, so if its an SRKers site I can understand. otherwise, you can do the money in the pot thing with just your friends and in real life

few things

-its not my website, though i had that same idea a few years ago
-lol my ninas a scrub and i havent touched tekken for like 3 years
-the website DOES NOT take a cut of your money. it makes money the same way myspace and facebook make money.
-yes, if youve got good friends, you dont need a website to do this.

but its like the whole deal where someone pays 30 bucks a month for a gym membership and doesnt go. with 30 bucks/month you dont care. but if you drop a huge amount this is a surefire way to commit to your goals.
