The Libertarian candidate is gonna steal so many votes from McCain just like Nader will steal them from Obama. The problem is Obama don't play that game and will shoot Nader in the face. Chaos ensues.

This assumes that Obama is going to win the nomination. At this time, he has a tentative number of delegates to take it. But in no way is it guaranteed to remain.
I mean really. What would possibly lead any of you to believe that Obama isn't going to fuck something up in the next month and a half, when he's yet to have a two week period where he isn't involved in some scandal the lowest common denominator scrambles to rationalize away? It took a matter of days for Obama to come from nowhere to become a viable candidate. To assume that everything will remain exactly the same for almost two months is silly.

Uhh...no he didn't. Obama hasn't won the nomination until the delegates vote on August 23rd.
And it's not your place (and not even really Obama's place) to determine who is the most "deserving" of being the VP. If Hillary being his VP raises his likelihood of being elected more than whoever else you're thinking of (seriously, I think the simple fact that the Decision thread has everyone saying "LOL JON EDWARDS IN DA HIZZY!" says it all, when it comes to SRK's actual knowledge of full picture of American politics), then that's who he should pick.
...assuming he gets it.

There is not a quantifiable likelihood of Ron Paul stealing the nomination.
There's a very quantifiable likelihood that the next Will Ayers, Jeremiah Wright, lack of patriotism, bribing the superdelegates, getting paid off by big oil, etc etc etc will stick and push him out of the "guaranteed" spot.
It only takes a day for one of the idiotic scandals to hit, and actually stick. And there are 52 days left for him to potentially fuck up.

The media is totally objective and has provided totally unbiased, reliable coverage of the Obama-Hillary competition, so you can say that with confidence.
And what do you mean "they've been brought up against Hillary?" I don't recall Hillary's priest/pastor saying America had 9/11 coming and then one of her key fundraisers saying that he wishes he could've joined in on Al Qaeda 'sploding shit.

I equate most Obama supporters to people who believed everything Al Gore said about global warming. Obama is just the hip thing now even though there's tons of evidence he's not all he's cracked up to be. Just like there was tons of evidence global warming isn't real.
Now people are realizing global warming isn't real and we're paying for it now with $4 gas and higher food prices.

He's fucked up loads of times but it always came back to reaming Hillary. Obama is the media and America's love child, he's safe from criticism.
Haha what?? The media is the only reason this race endured 3 months longer than it should have, because they kept characterizing Clinton's prospects as reasonable when it was obvious to 100% of all people that it was over in February, March at the latest. The media entirely passed over the allegations of serious unethical behavior made against Hillary by her supervisor during the Watergate investigation and spent maybe a week on her Bosnia lie, but they've spent the entire time talking up Wright, Phleger, some old quasi-terrorist dude who Obama barely knows, Obama's wife's statement about whether she's proud of America, etc. It's been pretty ridiculous to watch.
I wasn't an Obama supporter until I had no more non-Hillary choices (wanted Dodd, then Kucinich, then Edwards), but even while I was still supporting other candidates it was obvious what the media was trying to do.
Anyway, sure hope he doesn't pick Hillary as his VP. Picking Hillary would probably help him out with the small percentage of the less than half of the slightly more than a third of registered voters who are Democrats who voted for Hillary and would not otherwise vote for Obama, but that's tiny compared to the number of people who would never even consider voting for a ticket that had Hillary Clinton on it (ie, virtually all conservatives, even the disgruntled ones Obama's picked up in the open primaries, as well as a giant chunk of the independent middle). He should go with someone like Richardson or Wexler or even someone who supported Hillary like Rendell.
Just like there was tons of evidence global warming isn't real.
Now people are realizing global warming isn't realSeriously! It's like string theory, you know that theory in physics that tries to bind together the various forces and explain lots of other things while doing it? I'm not sure what a brane is, but I totally disagree with that thing. We should just stick with good ol' Newtonian physics, am I right? It was good enough for my great-great-grandfather, and by golly it's good enough for me, and all subsequent scientific advances and evidentiary results be damned.

It's already out there and there are people who are saying it now. I really don't want to see this become the issue for this election but I have a feeling it's going to be the main issue. I'd rather hear people stick to the issues but the race thing will come into play even more than it already is.

I voted for McCain, and will actually vote for him in November unless something drastic changes. This is because my personal views and opinions match up with his. Obama has impressed me with some of his speeches, but it's the things that aren't said that bother me. McCain, on the other hand, is old. His cancer will most likely surface again, as he had stage 2a Melanoma or whatever it's called. He does have a plethora of experience, both serving his country through the military and through the government, which would make him the superior candidate in this instance. In all honesty I think McCain should have won over Bush in the last two elections as I feel he would have handled the events that occured much more gracefully. At this point, however, McCain's knowledge and experience seems like it would be much more of an asset to our country than Obama's. I could be wrong about this, however, and Obama and his lack of experience and possible new outlook on our situation could work out for the best.
If McCain wants to win this and make everyone happy, he should pull in Obama as his VP. I know it won't happen, but it would give us a chance to see how Obama would perform in this kind of office, as well as give him the experience leading he so desperately needs. I know this will never happen because of party politics, but I think it would be be the best option.
Just as long as Hillary doesn't make it anywhere near the Oval Office.
Also, I think I love Ann Coulter now, 1984 references make me giddy. If she had somehow slipped in some Dune references, maybe call Hillary Shaitan or compare oil to melange I would have shit my pants and proposed to her.

Reading around all of her expected put-downs and past the obvious incentive she has to support Hillary (elongating the process, Hillary being a "weaker" candidate, etc.) She does make a valid point. Hillary is portrayed as a power hungry, crazy bitch and thrown under the bus while Obama got a mostly free-ride to the nomination. I'm ready to see how the Obama camp reacts when it starts getting its shit rocked during the general election advertisements.
