Base was okay but we only did well in tsneak cause we played scrubs. To be honest what puts us apart from other clans is the ability to head shot at lighting speed. If you notice we got raped by foxhounds due to their head shot techniques. I know in MGO:PO their was a trick called auto head shot, where you would auto aim then quicky tilt the joypad up to the head. If you mastered the timing it was a confirmed head shot. So I am wondering, I doubt it works in this game but are their any true head shot tricks in this game? Or is it just pure skill with aiming?

I wouldn't rely on it too much since there's always someone around to kill you after you kill someone.

The only other head shot trick I know was transferred over from MGO1 and it's not a useful technique in MGO2 because of how much better the over-the-shoulder view is. Basically, the old trick was utilizing auto-aim/autolock because it will give you chest to head level aim, then you switch into FPV mode and hit the trigger button for a quick head shot. It worked great in MGO1 because you there was no over-the-shoulder view in the game so you would always be using autolock anyways. The autolock on distance is limited in this game as well so you won't be winning any matches against people who are farther away from you. I think to make this technique even remotely viable is to have level 3 surveyor, which would give you an auto lock distance of 8.4-9.4m with M4 and 9.6-10.6 with the AK. The best auto lock on distance is the P90 with the laser, which would give you a whopping 34.5-35.5m. Not sure it would be worth it for 3 slots plus but that is a considerable distance and I think you might even go toe-to-toe with those distanced people.

Lol. Base if hella fun.
It's funny how so many people go out & kill each other. While they're out killing, I'm all about going after the bases. I try to avoid confrontation with the enemy. If they're holding a base, of course I greet them with some fire power.
When an enemy is trying to take your base, after killing them, be sure to run over your base so you can reset their time spent on the base. If you don't & they've been on it for a while, they can just run on it for a few seconds & snatch it.

Narc is useful in TSNE.
I don't really have advice, but I use: Narc 1, Runner 2, & CQC 1. I seem to do fine with those skills in TSNE.
I don't really use CQC at all, so I can prolly switch that to something else...

Whats up with some people being completely invisible? There was this dude the other day I couldn't see with the envg. I just saw this gun floating around, so I shot @ it & killed that person. I hear it's a glitch & if you see someone invisible, you should report it to Konami lol.

The invisible person glitch has been out since the expansion pack got released.

As for Team Sneak skills. You need to think what you want to concentrate on because it's hard to spread it out.

I would go with Narc, AR+, CQC, and Runner.
If you have Blades LVL 3 then that and CQC+ is all you need for team sneak. The ability to slit throats in Team Sneak is pretty valuable imo. However, if you are like me and like getting the GAKO/Kerotan then Runner is an absolute must. So it really depends on what you like to do during the match. To be honest I don't think AR+ is all that helpful in Team Sneak. Narc is probably the most important one though.

I'll be on for survival at the beginning but I won't be able to stay for too long like maybe 30minutes to an hour.

I saw their line up was composed of lvl 3-4 guys so I didn't think you guys would have a hard time against them.

Got my MIC to finally work properly with MGO though it seems to be specific to the room so we'll have to see. I got stuck with a hodge podge team since I couldn't make it to vegetto's room, which is strange since I did try srk and it didn't work or maybe it's because some one joined before I did. Anyways, I learned a few things about Capture missions.

I think the best strategies for Capture Mission is to have 2-3 people grab the target and run back to the base while the rest of the team rushes the enemy base to prevent them gaining any time on their target. Once it gets to the point where everyone is trying to grab the target that's been dropped is when co-ordination is important. I think the smartest thing to do is that 3-4 people rush to the base one member picks up the target. I say this because you know that the first thing the enemy team will do is camp at your base to steal the target so the 3-4 people should clear it ahead of time. The last remaining member should run interference on the enemy team. I don't expect him to survive long but it allows him to scope the area and catch the enemy by surprise if possible. If he dies he can text chat or voice chat to the rest of the team what he saw the enemy doing.

I did this in today's match. My team was counting down with the GAKO and the enemy was trying to reach their base with the kerotan to put the time at a standstill so I ran interference and caught the members by surprise and took the person with the target out, which really slowed down the enemy's movements.

BE VIP SRK Team got full quick. I ended up teaming with DDC. We did ok. Two members weren't part of DDC & they sucked really bad. I invited some of you guys to join us, but it seemed the lobby was full. That sucks. We would have beasted. Maybe next time.

GG's for this weekends survival team!! we started off kinda slow n it was getin me mad to the point where i flipped out lol, but its all good. I sent my apologies to my teamates n made sure we were all cool. Then we started kickin sum ass, n finally got a few wins against rlly "leet" teams and their fake Foxhound embs... Wat rlly amazed me was wen we would go against REAL foxhounds, and we would lose, but still keep the game tight n close to em, im sure they respect us for our efforts n hard headed slefes =P

Last night we did better than the last 2 days, we started slow again, but i notice that later on we started winning frequently, and we beat good teams. this was due to certain things that started falling in place, and that i forgot taht was the main thing our first team assembled had. Therefore i would like to suggest that we do sum kind of training, and im not kidding wen i say this, below i will list a number of things that i believe we should INVENT, LEARN, PRACTICE, and IMPLEMENT. it is open for suggestions and changes.

Some of the things that i believe we must work on are:

1- COMMUNICATION: By this im reffering to MIC's (ive noticed that wen u use ur mic in survival and you leave it on at the end of the round or match, at the beggining of the next IT WILL NOT WORK!! so umust turn it off.

2- SKILLS DISTRIBUTION: I noticed that wen we were fighting real foxhound teams, i was doing more than just fighting to win, i was studyin them n wat skills i believed they were using. I noticed that they were well balanced and for example not all of them used assault lv3 lol. depending on the mission i kept noticing that they used 2 runners for capture missions, 3 assualts, and 1 sniper (in some teams). So my purpose of pointing this out is that i remember our first surv. team was pretty balanced, we had 3 assault (me,solidfox,veggeto), 2 snipers (kombo, and sniperwolf), and we had sum1 else who was balanced and varied their skills but i could never keep track hehe n i think that was J-nav. It wasnt the best setup, but it worked!! and HELLA GOOD!!:tup:

3-STRATEGIES: ahh yes...the old strat...well we all knw why this is good, nothin is better than a plan!! improv is good, but combine a strat with the ability to adapt to changes inmediatly, if we do the math, im sure thatll = TEH WIN!! and MORE MONEY!! Strategy is tied with communication. Ive never playd CS(counterstrike) but one thing ive noticed through observation, is that ppl had names for certai areas of the map, i think we should try to implement that to MGO! why? well simple, it can b easy,short, UNIVERSAL(every1 can understand), and last but not least, its QUICK!! this way people can knw where u are or where the enemy is, by jsut sayin sumthin short, yet precise. this can be worked on to see wats easiest and best.

I wanted to practice AT LEAST some of these things tonite n i mentioned it last night in survival, im available tonite n if anyone is willing to improve let me knw and we'll create a clan room n see wat we can do about it. SERIOUS BUSINESS!!

The box is very good for Team Sneak. When I RC'ed through gunfire to the goal with the Kerotan, the box was what got me that far. Also, when you boxdash, there are no sounds of footsteps at all. You guys really have to start using that. People will run by you and it's a free CQC choke or headshot.

The box is what I use to dodge all the time. Rolling doesn't help unless you know exactly where your getting shot from. Usually, someone rolls to escape my bullets but I headshot them as soon as the animation ends. To avoid this, you can go into prone but once again, it doesn't help much unless you know exactly where it's coming from. If you really want to piss people off, start using the box during gunfights. Equip box to duck their headshot attempt, run to the side, and pop out to headshot them. :badboy:

Box Technique is fucking awesome. I started using it in a room full of foxhounds and that shit saved my life big time. It took three guys to kill me because they kept missing a lot of their shots.

Sorry, I couldn't find any good games after we lost connection to that first game. The other two games we played were stupid one team was usually stacked and the other team was so uncoordinated that we didn't stand a chance. However, the base mission we did (not the one with handguns only) was a good learning experience and I noted their strategy.

Okay, so Canto and I were playing against a very well co-ordinated team. I think the reason for their success is that no matter where they started they had all spots covered. Their aerial control was insane, they had 2 guys on the roof and 1 guy on the ledge on the side of the building. They guys on the roof took out the guys taking over the bases allowing their team to reclaim or take over the bases around their support. It was a really good strategy but not sure how feasible it would be with just a team of six.

Yeah the motion blur on it is awesome. The problem is that it does zero stamina damage, I don't understand why that is. I wanted to get a whole team charging in w/ the box, but it would take awhile to set up, haha.

Yeah, but the good thing about the setup and how much knockdown that leaves, you can ambush the grounded bodies and kill everyone in one stroke. That's IF your team is that coordinated.

Man, I was on fire tonight and especially during that TDM match I was killing mofo's left, right, and center. I had your back covered on multiple occasions. I remember killing a guy when he got behind you only to get head shot from behind.

That box technique is extremely abusable and is saving my ass. I think that alone upped my game considerably. You force the person to aim low to hit you, which already throws them off. You're faster while running in a box making you harder to hit. People don't really expect it unless you are fighting the pros but even then it's an annoyance to deal with. Very hard to confirm head shots since you can't really tell where their head is and it's a good mind game because they'll get freaked once they run out of bullets and you're popping out to kill them. You guys need to abuse this technique asap if you aren't already.

Don't bother rolling when you are taking fire because it's very easy to adjust the aim for where you'll recover and then head shot you from there. It's better to immediately go into the box and force them to try to readjust their aim and see if you can escape. Plus you can always rotate the camera to see where they are firing from and then pop up to try and kill them instead of having to recover from a roll then get into the ready position and start firing. The only issues I have is when it lags or when the game doesn't detect the roll properly and they'll end up somewhere else. Konami needs to fix that shit because every time someone rolls over a small ledge or cliff the game detects them rolling into it and then a second later they'll be over the ledge running off somewhere. I get screwed by that so many times when I'm shooting at someone.

I noticed Solidfox, sniperwolf, and truepatriot were in a training session. I wanted to join in to learn some stuff but kept getting kicked. My apologies if I was ruining it for you guys but that wasn't my intent. I saw the session had room for 10 and thought it would be okay to join but I guess not...:sad:

Yeah dude you were kicking ass. I really liked when you were backing me up. I think I play the best when I'm either being backed up or backing someone up. It really helps because the enemy cant decide who to shoot at and before they know it they're dead ahahahah. I was also trying to back you up. We started to work together better during the base mission. You and I were both taking the same paths until one of us died and we got split apart but once we regrouped it was pretty much one person had the other persons back. I was just annoyed that our team kept trying to snipe the people on the roof. They clearly didn't have the skills to take that guy out and they weren't contributing to stealing bases so we had no chance of winning at that point.

GG's to solidfox, vegett0, and sonickun. BE VIP and SRK was representing that game since all 3 of us made the top 3 in that round. I'm sure I would have been in 4th place instead of 3rd if solidfox stuck around that game. I had to switch gears at the beginning since my tactics weren't working and once I found something that worked I started gaining more kills. Probably would have ended up with a lower death ratio if I started doing that at the beginning of the round. Got to learn to take my time when fighting against the pros. It was good having back up instead of being alone and having to deal with 3 or 4 guys at once.

I think we should do training sessions on practicing various techniques and then try to do a few test sessions on the various modes like Team Sneak, Capture, and Rescue.

I was playing Team Sneak in Ambush Alley (full room of 16 ppl) and got severly owned during the Sneaking side. I'm really running out of ideas on this map. You think it would be a great map for the sneaking side but the various explodable canisters, the small spaces, and the amount of grenades being thrown is vicious. You guys have any ideas/suggestions for this map?

Well I finally did it. I got ALL 40 emblems including BIG BOSS,unlocked all ipod songs,items,camos & face camos. I completely mastered and got everything in MGS4.
Some could say my save file is the perfect save. I wanted to upload it to gamefaqs but it was rejected cause someone had already uploaded the perfect save.

Here are all 40 emblems. If I was missing any there would be blank spaces. The gold ribbon icon is the highest rank u were rewarded in that playthrough. It took me 11 playtroughs to get them all. YES I BEAT THE GAME 11 fu*king times.:arazz: I would have stopped at 10 but forgot 1 ipod song. The chicken emblem was the most boring to get, konami are asses for making me do that. Anyway here it is.

I'm sooo f*cking bored of this game it's not even funny. There is nothing to do in MGS4 since I murdered it. Some can argue there is alot to do online but I've spent hundreds of hours in the beta and now the mgo. I think I'm done with MGS4 and MGO. It was an amazing ride and I met alot of u great SRK'ers in the process. So in the end I am happy with the result. This is sadly my official good bye from MGO. I am moving on to bigger things now like GGPO. Only problem is, ggpo is having an error where new players can't join. I read it on the GGPO forums. So I am going to have to wait. I guess my next big online game is SS2THD Remix or SF4. When ever they come out anyway. So good luck to u guys.:woot:

Now your putting words in my mouth. Never did I once say I play for rank. If you look at my stats I have put a good amount of hours into all modes. I also change up my skills and experiment with different tactics. The game is just broken. The netcode is awful, collision detection is piss poor and the game over all is full of glitches. I have legit reasons for being bored.

I just posted rank screens to show people I ain't quitin cause I suck or something. Also because of the fake amount of foxhounds,kicking from rooms if I dominate and random shit talking with 14 year olds it does not help. The worst part is I was randomly disconnected from a survival match even though I was hard wired. Long story short, the game has more problems then strengths. Also note that I murdered the offline portion as u can see so in the end there is nothing to do.

MGO boils down to boom headshot,camp or turtle until someone comes and slit their throat. Don't get me wrong the game is fun,especially with ur team mates but this game does not deserve any credit for mad replay. I say give it till january and u will see the game almost dead. Most people are leaving it as we speak.
I am not encouraging people to spit on the game. And I am not trying to argue with u, but I do not play the game for rank, online anyway. Offline is a different story. I am gonna miss u DS:shake:

This will scare u but I am actually bored with the team dynamic as well. I think I've played too much MGS. If you guys don't know already I have beaten MGS1,2 & 3 and unlocked everything. Same with portable ops. I actually think I killed stealth game play in general. GG's to u, u guys don't need me anyway since most of u guys have surpassed me in skill. I am pretty sure u will dominate in survival.

Then a lot of those replays were for fun and trying to get the high rankings.

It got pretty bad actually to the point where I decided to replay an MGS game during the christmas break and I was able to keep up that 'tradition' until last year due to the heavy school workload during the time. I should really get around to replaying MGS4 some more. I haven't unlocked the Big Boss emblem though I did dl the save file because I wanted to see what was so special about the unlocks.

Don't go to auto match it's to slow. Pick the option below it. It's rooms made by peeps u can join when ever. You move up by various methods. If u get a lot of head shots you get eagle. If you fall into alot of traps u get rat. Stuff like that, but moving up by level is hard. I guess as long as your getting more kills then deaths you should move up to level seven. Anything above that is harder. I'm kinda retired for now so I won't be on. But you can count sonickun or sniperwolf to be on.

BTW GGPO IS F*CKING AMAZING!! They fixed the issues and I played super turbo with fallen angel and sf3 with magneto maniac. This is amazing, it kills kaillera. Other than the lag spikes, inputs are real good. Damn I'm in love.:lovin:

I prefer it if we set this up beforehand because it's really annoying trying to figure out where to join and what's the password of the day is. I really hate trying to organize something on the REX server because it's always full and people who jump on any where between 10-30 minutes from when Survival starts will always have a difficult time getting on. Personally, the RAY or Shagohod servers will be easier to set something up but I prefer the RAY server.

Anyways, on that map there was a guy who aimed for me and I aimed back at him, but when I went into FP mode the game slowed the fuck down! Like, holy shit was it slowing down. I thought the game was gonna freeze on me. The shit was going like 15 - 20 FPS, and I was still able to get my kill.

But then again, it was a full room and I'm sure behind us (inside the building) there was a lot of people. Still, so much slow down.

I was so rusty at the beginning from not playing MGO for a week but finally started doing decently near the end.

NARC wasn't working so well in Team Sneak for some odd reason. I kept getting shot at and NARC wouldn't expose their location at all so I guess I need to level that skill up some more but wasting 2 slots for a LVL 2 NARC doesn't seem worth it. Perhaps, they were just too far away for NARC to have any effect.

Also, who was big balls from BE VIP? I can't believe he just sat in the box while we got tranq'd by the other team. I had killed one of them and the other two were completely exposed and vulnerable but he just sat in the box near us and left us to get stabbed. Then he completely missed his CQC grabs on the enemy and ended up dying. It was quite irritating that he just left us to die when he was so close by.

The lag was pretty bad in some of those games because I would be shooting at someone who got exposed in Team Sneak and then the next thing i know they are in front of me bcs they rolled and i lose a bit of stamina bcs of the collision.

It just feels like the Konami servers are getting worse lately. I never had a huge problem with them before but this past month they've been quite horrible for me. I thought something was up with my PS3.

Yeah, that was me. Apparently there seems to be a problem here. And yes, I missed the CQC grabs on that second play through when we were in stealth because, guess what? Nobody else went in with me. I was rushing to where the people got tranq'd so I could shoot down the people who tranq'd before they killed our teammates or take their weapons to use against us. I figured that if they got spotted someone would come and help out as well. You were close by so I figured you would help but you didn't. I got ambushed by 3 people and I'll take responsibility for that. Probably a stupid idea on my behalf and I wasn't playing well that day.

Fact is there were 2-3 of them left that got compromised because I spotted and killed one of them. Meaning the others were susceptible to getting killed by another person. I'm not blaming you for the loss nor am I faulting your strategy since if it was just 1 person it would have been fine but there 3 so they would have ganged up on you. Granted, you probably wouldn't have known unless you went out and saw them for yourself.

In any case, I'm not one to get pissy over these things so I'll apologize and chalk it up to me being bitter over the loss.

She didn't have a mic...
It was all good I guess. Those chicks ended up leaving, so I left too. I ended up making a new SRK Team the last hour of Survival. It was urcreditscore & I, with my friend Medusa & 3 random people. We dominated! We ended up with 4 wins in a row. Woulda been 5+ wins, but Survival ended soon after we got our 4th win. :wink:

It was not a good night for us as our matchups were always against beastly clan teams that were comprised of foxhounds, foxes, hounds, dobermans, and eagles. It seems that the only way to compete in Survival is to assemble a clan team of high level people. I think the majority of those teams had their members with mics. Anyways, got to up our game and start playing those other modes. We seemed to do okay in TDM except that one time we lost to those 3 people but I wouldn't feel too bad about that loss. The fact is there were just 3 of them meaning we had less targets to take out and they had 6 of us to pick off. They were foxhounds, and eagles as well and while our strategy wasn't the smartest there are still some advantages to having a small team in TDM.

I liked how Canto was saying to pair up so I covered Canto's back and then some guy just dropped down and knock Canto down. I laughed so hard when that happened and then I popped that guy in the head.

In our last match together as SRK clan I got incredibly pissed off because someone was shooting at Killykun and I ran out to give him cover fire and the mother fucker headshot me and he was not even looking at me!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got mad so in the next round I decided to take out 4 of their members lol. Against the last guy I should have did the box dash and I would have won.

When we were fighting the 3 people we were completely uncivilized about it. We saw that they had 3 members so we decided to fucking run and try to shoot the living hell out of them. Bad idea. I only died twice in the match and killed around 8 or 9 because I was staying close to the base and when they tried to attack our team members I would jump out and kill them. Everyone should have been doing that. Pair up, find cover, lure, shoot. Instead the noobs on our team (not SRK) tried to spawn camp and in doing so gave the enemy free kills.

After I played with you guys I got off for about an hour and got back on and joined a team of foxhounds, Dobermans, and eagles. We were actually doing pretty good and got a 4 win streak.

Anyways, ggs to all the SRKs this weekend. I have almost 20k reward now lol.

The best way to succeed is mikes. You also have to practice as a team 3 days out of the week. You can't just go into survival gung ho. I know you know that but I can't stress enough. The reason why the SRK team solidfox,sniperwolf,kombokaze,deis,vegetto & tru did so well is we knew each others play style. So we were able to co-ordinate to an extent without mikes. I don't think you guys have the numbers or the chemistry. I suggest practicing together on weekdays. It's kinda funny I finally got my mike working without static and then I get bored.:mad:

Yeah, when I died in that match the camera was following you and I saw that you spotted an enemy and he ran off ahead. You rolled off the ledge and followed him and the next that happened he CQC'd you. I could have sworn that he ran off farther ahead and not around the corner.

GG's to everyone tonight. Where did you guys go? Canto made a room after we left and we were hoping to get more people on but only DS, Canto, J-Nav, EmptyJump, and myself joined. :(

It would have been more fun in that one room if the lag wasn't so horrendous. The host didn't have a good connection so most of us were in the red.

I had the worst matchups against J-Nav. I'd would randomly run into you and then try to get a headshot but end up aiming off in no-man's land and getting headshot myself or I would use box dash but have the stun knife equipped so when I went to lock on mode my camera would get reversed and I would die.

That Team Sneak was quite fun but you guys left me on the other team who was too busy trying to figure out how to fix the one guy's mic because he changed his voice to be too deep. I knew you guys would camp near the GAKO and when we tossed the E.Locaters we had all of your positions revealed but didn't have any means to take you out. I was going to grab the GAKO when I told my teammate to use the chaff but then Canto ran out and into me so I had to back off from it. I think I managed to stun at least one of you guys before time ran out. :arazz:

I think we won that second run out of pure luck. The amount of lucky grenade hits was hilarious near the end. I honestly did not expect some of the grenades to hit. Guess it's that extremely vague grenade hitbox for the win.

We should do this more often.

How I got waterbear is I was just experiementing in new rooms with new tactics and was using traps and hiding in places and I died about 2 or 3 times in 4 rounds 50 tickets 10 mins. I was amazed that I survived that much and when the game ended I had the water bear emblem. I want to get the dog emblem now lol.

That was incredibly fun how we moved through the entire map covering each others backs. I think we circled the map twice without running into J-Nav or DS.

I thought for sure J-Nav and DS would be in the tunnel but or on the rooves but they weren't so the only thing I could think of was that stariway that lead up to that small room. I went up those stairs so quietly and looked around the corner to find a box so I shot it and it turned out DS was in the box.

I have no idea where that host was from but he shouldn't be hosting. He should have left and reassigned someone else as the host and then rejoined the game because that lag was retarded.

I'm so close to having Runner and AR+ lvl up to level 3 but I doubt it'll be worth using those skills alone unless I was in team sneak or rescue and was looking to grab the target. Still waiting for box dash to level up though I doubt that will be difficult to do considering how often I'm in that damn thing.

To get the Water Bear emblem, you have to die a lot less than you would normally do. It's not that you have to survive a whole TDM without dying, but at the most you have have 6 deaths. You can get this in probably a week of playing. That's how I got mine, but my teammates have decided to suck(fucking randoms) as of late and I don't get any support fire. Run and gun types can't ever get Water Bear because they're too busy getting sniped. Gotta play REALLY patient in order to get Water Bear.

Ive had them both on for like 2 weeks now. They seemingly never move. So with CQC, does it level up every time I choke out a guy? Or do I just leave the skill on my character for a month and it levels up gradually just from having it on? I don't really get it. Sorry, I am okay at the game I guess but I haven't studied the system. Whats this box dash you guys are talking about?

You level up by performing actions that pertain to that skill. So, if you wanted to level up hawkeye, you need to get kills/stuns while using the first-person view on your weapon. Regular kills and stuns seem to give the same amount of experience but headshots will definitely level it up faster.

CQC gains experience from any of the CQC actions. This includes: throwing people down, the punch-kick combo, and choking someone out.

So, the description of the skill should give you an idea of what to do to gain experience. The only one that might be confusing is Narc. You must lock-on to an enemy and take damage from them. You'll see them glow whenever they shoot you. The more shots you take, the more experience you gain. This also works with stun weapons.

The box dash is an ability you gain once you master the box skill. With level 3 box equipped, you can press square to tackle while inside your box. It's pretty fun to use. Your character will yell loudly and anyone you hit goes flying like a bowling pin. In order to unlock the box skill, you must have moved around in a box for one hour. You do not gain experience simply from sitting in the box.

That really depends on the skill. The weapon skills go up real fast. So do the quarterback, trickster, and sixth sense skills. Then you have some like surveyor and narc which take forever. I'd say CQC is somewhere in the middle.

This is why you see booster rooms in the lobby. These are specifically made for leveling up so most weapons/items will be restricted. You level up whatever skill you want using a non lethal method. You can master most of the skills in a few hours doing this. Also, you basically have to do this in order to get Narc mastered, as lock-on is rarely used in real matches.

Fun to throw during TDM when your teammates are looking around and getting shot up until they see there enemy blinking and get some stupid headshot off. Or some CQC grab followed by lag in which they get countered.:tup:

How do you even level up on MGO? It's crazy because I keep going from level 3 to level 4.... It is annoying the crap out of me. Maybe I just suck :lame: or it is my fault for going to levels where sniper happy people are waiting...:tdown:

Levels don't mean much in this game, honestly. It fluctuates. All depends on how much you're playing and how much stats you're building(i.e. killing people).

Well after my close to 2 week vacation, I am coming back to MGO. Not as hardcore but count me in for survival. If GGPO was reliable I wouldn't be here lol. Sadly deathscythe was right it has problems. I can play a few good matches but lag really kills it. Sniperwolf was also right, if I mix up what I play it keeps interest. So I am back family.:sad:

Also, you basically have to do this in order to get Narc mastered, as lock-on is rarely used in real matches.:wonder: Actually I got my Narc lv3 in one day just by playing in TDM rooms that had 99 tickets and purposely ran around drawing fire from the enemy in obvious sniping areas... dood.

Did you master it before the first patch? Before, narc would level up simply by connecting through SOP to your teammates. Basically, every time you tagged a teammate with triangle, narc would go up. Now, you have to do the whole lock-on damage deal.

Yo guys good games and sorry I couldnt stay on longer tonight cause my family is visiting me and my brother sleeps in my room so I gotta shut everything down so he can sleep (hes 12).

Also, my PS3 is on my floor right next to my bed because I have the ethernet cord coming from one room into my room and into the PS3. The TV is across from my bed so the AV cables are stretched across my floor. I cant get the PS3 any closer to the TV because the ethernet cord is stretched out to the max and the head is broken off it so it comes off very easily so thats why I DQed today. Sorry about that and hope that makes sense ahahahah

Yeah I'm DeisExInferni. Thanks man, you are pretty good yourself. We usually play together because I almost always go to clan roster and join whoever is in a match so we can play together.

To level up the skill fastest you have to have it set at the highest level you got so if you want to level up runner put it on lvl 1 then when its level 2 you have to equip it as lvl 2 to level it up. It wont level up if you use runner level 1 all the time.

Box dash we are talking about is a simple trick that helps us out a LOT!!! You can use it in various situations but the best and easiest one is when you are running out towards an enemy quickly equip the box, jump in front of him, aim while in the box, unequip the box, shoot! Its funny how often this works because it denies the enemy of a headshot and gets you an easy one. Try it out. It takes a while to master and I can tell you right now I'm no master of it. Ask Killykun about that one haha.

Another way I use it is when I'm shotting at someone.. mid shotting at him I jump into the box, aim, jump out, and shoot. It works most of the time.

Here's the funny part. I was rusty and still got no 1 THREE TIMES IN A ROW IN CC. Then when u left I captured the kerotan in 60 seconds in AA, then was number 1 AGAIN in capture in MM. I'm rusty but I still got it. And I still owned u.:rofl:

In all fairness though u did get better. I'm sorry to say that I got bored after beasting. Whats funny is I suck. You guys need to co-ordinate better. I remember I could not get in when I was lvl 3, now I'm lvl 4 and it's still letting me in easy!
