I find it hilarious how people will go down the same path they died especially when kill cam is on. If I see someone has sniped me from a certain position then I'll take a different path to sneak up on them. It's like in M.M when people go to that roof and start sniping people. Instead of running down the main street I'll sneak around and climb up the ladder and knife them from behind.

Few things you should know is that i expect everyone to have Common Sense. {EX} Running down a street where you've previously and consecutively been sniped and killed. I dont understand why ppl think "I have to Make it down this street" is the only line of tactic.

I don't know how active I'm going to be on MGO actually and I don't play Survival all that often and the times I do play it's only for an hour or two before I have to do something else. I still play consistently but I never see any of you guys on. J-Nav, I see no reason to leave SRK either so I'll continue to find you through the clan roster. I don't play survival because I'm always doing shit on the weekends, plus survival seems kind of disorganized. I want to play TDM the second I boot up my PS3, I don't want to wait 30 minutes. Plus I don't really like Team Sneak, Base, Capture, DM, etc etc. I think TDM is the most fun, just a personal opinion. So Survival doesn't really appeal to me because although I am alright at the game, the only scenario I am even decent at is TDM. I am always lost as shit when I go to a Base or Capture or Sneak room, I never ever know where to take Ga-Ko or Kerotan once I grab them. Never. Hahaha. People must get so mad at me. Anyway, EmptyJump noob question of the day.

Yeah, that's another reason why I stopped playing. Random people suck for the most part and are all about being Rambo in situations that don't call for being Rambo. KidZero and I would run trains on Base Missions due to people wanting to kill each other all the time.

Honestly I might, it depends on how good resistance 2 and killzone 2 are. If I don't feel like I can flow with those games cause I don't like em I'll come back for sure. It was fun...

Tonight in survival, we played TDM in C.C. twice. First time it was against all foxhounds so someone said on mic to stay in base. Thats what we did! They kept trying to rush, we kept killing them.. all the while staying in out base the whole time. Then.. a user named Emo_Gamer start chatting to us. "You fucking campers you guys fucking suck all you do is fucking camp, camp camp, get the fuck out you campers" then I was like, "lol @ emo kid" and he was like "kid? oh yeah? what if we camped huh?", and were like "GO CAMP THEN!" and he was like "were losing! we cant camp! you noobs you bastards you guys suck you campers".

At this point I was laughing so hard I almost got beasted by one of their members. Man he made such an ass of himself and at the end of the match just to make it burn I said "fake foxes, gtfo>" and they started rambling on. We owned them pretty bad.

Well guess what? That strat worked so well we did it again! And guess what happened? Someone started bitching again !! ahahhaha. "you damn campers you camp and thats how youre good you noobs you noobs".

Man.. it was a blast. Some people on MGO are really sensetive about this camping stuff.

I was 100% guilty of going mad during survival. I was not use to losing and took it to a un healthy level. Some where down the line I lost the fun it it. I'm never ever doing that again. From now on any co op game I play I got SRK's back no matter how bad we get our asses kicked.

OAG man.. I played Killzone 1 for hours upon hours. I love that game to death. Its my favorite FPS of all time, though it had serious issues. I was king of grenades because it had such a beautiful grenade system. My friend and I would fight 14 CPUs on extreme mode and only die once or twice.

When Killzone 2 comes out I will be buying it for sure.

A very fun multiplayer online FPS is Team Fortress. I used to play the original at lan places back in Kuwait (along with counter strike for like 3 years). Its very fun playing with your friends if they know how to play. I picked up The Orange Box which included Team Fortress the new version on it and it was pretty fun.. but lost interest cause I didn't know anyone else who was playing it. Beat the Half Lifes though which was fun.. and Portal was great too. 5 great games for the price of one? Can't beat that.

Killzone 2 has a class system with medics who can heal people,snipers with stealth! As well as various other classes. The game also has clan support! Also when u pick a class you can pick secondary perks from another class to mix it up! It truly is the future.

I also played Unreal, Unreal Tournament 99, Unreal Tournament dreamcast version, Unreal Tournament 2004 (a lot), Counter Strike, Team Fortress, Killzone, Half Life, and some Battlefield.

I was waiting for a game like MGO to come out.. and now that its out I'll be playing it for a while.

My fave. FPS though has got to be this one mod for Unreal Tournament 2004. It was called Air Buccaneers.. I cannot explain how much fun that game is!!!!!!!!!!! You basically have to get into an air balloon and ride it across the map and load a canonball thats strapped onto it, and shoot down your opponents balloons! All of this was extremely hard to too! I once played it in a LAN and we had the most fun EVER!! That mod ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thats one reason why I hesitate to rejoin MGO. The lag is pretty bad compared to some games. I am on dsl, it has served me well up till now. Most of the time I have 2 green bars on MGO. I'm kinda waiting on my cable modem though. I should get it sometime around october or early november.

My apologies dude. I should have told him how it goes down. I assumed he knew. Sorry Nero, should have told you recon clan is mad strict. Thats how they win though, team work is key. Just a note for SRK'ers who join recon unit or any elite clan. It's serious business and you MUST follow orders. Or don't join other clans. If you are casual just stick with SRK. If you wanna be hardcore u can leave and join other clans but be warned u will be booted if u don't own up to the tasks. My apologies to SRK and Shyde again.

BTW s.rejenki have u seen the killzone 2 multiplayer trailer? Or the resistance 2 link? Whats your thoughts on it. I heard both games are highly respected.

your 6th bc alpha team doesnt need points in survival, so we dont play anymore. In 3 weeks i accumulated almost 50,000 points which put me in the Top 10 best in Reward Points. I've bought everything in the Rewards shop with still over 20,000 points to spare.

Plz dont confuse your strength when your with a good team. The players you play with determine how well you do and how long you live in survival. The only ppl this method doesnt apply to are the Original Elite skilled players of Alpha team who brought Recon Unit in the Top 15 in Survival. I understand how you feel though. Just dont let your ego climb too high when you got other good players on your team.

GGs to Kombo, EmptyJump, J-Nav, Dood, and Medusa last night! I'm actually getting better with AR's now, even managed to get top 3 in several matches with it(headshots aren't really hard with AR's, and if they are moving alot the ROF makes up for it). However I can't shoot in 1st person mode worth a damn so I'm still limited in my evasion skills since I can't strafe. I'll probably use AR's in some stages(like V.V. :mad: ) and switch to Shotgun in small stages like M.M.

Speaking of Shotguns, it makes no sense that I almost get kicked for using the box trick with it. People act like it's not fair and that the Shotgun is powerful enough the way it is, but it naturally has WAY too many disadvantages compared to AR's. Reload is too slow, firing rate is too slow, the range is too small, you can't get any headshots with it(don't talk to me about slugs since they are alot worse than buckshots at knocking down and the rate of fire is still ass against any other gun) and you auto lose against AR's and SR's at a fair distance(hell even at close range sometimes if you don't knock them down). If I manage to close the gap on you somehow and surprise you, the shotgunner deserves the kill.

If anything, the box trick somewhat fixes the risk/reward for Shotguns. Otherwise, the match against AR's(in CvS2 terms) would be like King(without RC's) vs Sagat.

...anyway, I should be on tonight for more AR practice.

Its called Cancel Shot. I recent showed the trick effectively to Nero. I also showed the different ways you can use support items such as Porno Mags. When 1v1 SOLIDUS JAC i used the mags, and he thought it was to get him trapped, but really it was just used as a distraction to take away his focus. And when he went up against i would force him to shoot the mags and if he did so.....easy Headshot for me. He never had a chance.

Anyways these days i really dont spend my time playing to much, more so coaching than anything else. Maybe bc i'm arrogant but i dont like playing garbage. As Solidfox knows, when i step foot inside any type of room i'm assured the number 1 spot. Which is how i was able to get to level 14 back then. I've defeated ppl like Beowulf and O Lo, so there isnt to much me for do. I have nothing to prove as a good portion of the ppl of MGO know who i am.

Naw but seriously, the changes to the shotgun is pretty fair considering that they upped the Shotgun levels IMO. Lvl 3 shotgun has the same exact firing speed as the box trick, so the only thing you really have to do is duck after the first shot to get close to the same effect. lvl 2 has small lag, but still quite usable. Reload speed is dope.

Deis: you can't box cancel in between shots, but you still can cancel reloading bullets. Although with the new speed you won't really need to.

And Saiga is a viable option now at 5000 DP's a pop. But you'll only want to bother with it for the bullet capacity.

I understand the purpose of the box techinque but I was addressing an alternative technique to cancelling the reload animation for shotguns. As answered by Shinkuu that got nerfed too so the shotgun is pretty much nerfed altogether. I didn't think the box techinque was that bad with the shotgun since it still requires you to understand the nature of the weapon and how to maximize it's potential. You still need to capitalize on those facts with the new patch but it's effectiveness has been significantly decreased.

Find a game and check out the teams, find a foxhound on one team and join with them. Then, follow the foxhound dude and watch everything he does. If hes not a faker then you can learn lots of good strats from him.
Aside from that, read up on this thread, especially in the earlier pages. Lots of strats and advice and stuff.

So.. I went out to today to buy a new mouse cause I'm sick of my crappy bluetooth mouse. After doing loads of research I bought the MX518 by logitech cause its cheap and pretty good.. so then I think hey I can use this for metal gear online too! Because I saw that MGO had keyboard macros, I thought that it would support keyboard and mouse!
So I bought this Razer Lycosa keyboard cause some of my friends were telling me about it. A pretty penny it was to say the least.
I get home, plug everything in, and hey the keyboard is working for menus so thats cool, then I get in game and I try to move with the mouse but it doesnt work, then I try to move with the keyboard and it still doesnt work... guess what? No mouse and keyboard support for MGO. Just typing with a keyboard. That pissed me off.

I'm debating on whether I should take the keyboard back or not. Its a pretty good keyboard but I don't really have any use for it.

So.. I went out to today to buy a new mouse cause I'm sick of my crappy bluetooth mouse. After doing loads of research I bought the MX518 by logitech cause its cheap and pretty good.. so then I think hey I can use this for metal gear online too! Because I saw that MGO had keyboard macros, I thought that it would support keyboard and mouse!
So I bought this Razer Lycosa keyboard cause some of my friends were telling me about it. A pretty penny it was to say the least.
I get home, plug everything in, and hey the keyboard is working for menus so thats cool, then I get in game and I try to move with the mouse but it doesnt work, then I try to move with the keyboard and it still doesnt work... guess what? No mouse and keyboard support for MGO. Just typing with a keyboard. That pissed me off.

Put all of your sensetivity options to 10. Last week I did that and it helped a lot. :woot:

Yeah I quit a long time ago. Deleted my character too. But there are a lot of skilled SRK cats who still play the game. Anyone in this thread will be glad to help. BTW the clan leader is Jnav/KidZero. He will accept you no problem.

Survival was good last night. Played in the Ray server. Only came across one team who glitched, but managed to take them out to stop them from further glitching. We still lost to them, but we gave them a beating. Took them a while to win even when they were cheating lol. I think we would have won if they weren't cheating, but whatev, fake Foxhounds! I hate when other people steal your kill. I'm playing alot of TNSE now it just seems more of a challenge. The only downside is ''your team members'', not the whole team but alot of them don't even try too use teamwork, hide, or anything else and get you spotted. If you have at least one member that can work with you it can be 2 vs the whole team and still win. Those glitchers though are starting to be a real problem.

Lol I never played the beta cause I just bought a PS3 and MGS4 two weeks ago. And I wanted to join in with everyone else and and I was level 0 and everyone else was level 6 and up. So the next night I played I got the sloth title :looney:

Last night I was playing Base with rankers 1, 39 & 41. They team stack. My team was scared or something to get bases, so I pretty much did all the work :mad: & the rest followed me lol. Anyways, I gave them a hard time & they asked me what I ranked in Base. I told them I rank 42nd. Whatta ya know. Go blue they said (I was in red team), so I was like nah it's cool. Then I left the room cuz team stacking is no fun. Felt bad for red team though, but I had to leave cuz we didn't win any matches & my level went down to 7 when I had just brought it back up to 8. :looney:

Jai-On team stacks, but once we were on opposing teams and he had all sloths and I did too, it was basically a 1vs1 match. He was pretty good and we crossed paths a lot and killed each other loads of times but in the end his team was winning. I'm always careful now when I play against him.

Tonight our clan did killer in Survival. 18 win streak, we lost the 19th to glitchers!!! It was capture and I would get the duck in the terminal and then 4 seconds before we win it stops, but on the map the frog was in the middle of the stage, then out of no where I die to be shown a courching dude in the enemy base during the killcam. The leader at the time told everyone to go after the glitchers body, but it was protected by 2 guys. There were only 3 people on the team. Then.. the timer goes down for their team! We killed the glitchers around 4 times, but it wasnt enough. In the second round all 3 of them were glitching and a 4th member magically appeared! Lol it was weird and funny.

On Friday I created an SRK team as usual for Survival. Had some decent players. Played against Foxhounds & lost. One of the guys I "used" to be buds with started talking sh!t saying SRK is a failure blah blah blah. Hes' known as DIZZY. If you play with him, kick his ass! 4 of those guys weren't even SRK so whatev. We'll show him. :mad:

Then on this Rescue match against more Foxhounds, my team bailed on me. We were defending, or I was defending & I managed to take out 3 of them, but then I was ambushed & died. I ended up getting second place lol. Then they told me to leave because it was just me & I was like, No, me wants points. Anyways I ended up getting 50 points & getting 4th place overall lol.

...I wish J-Nav could have joined us, maybe tomorrow...
Sorry Dood. I wanted to play Survival tonight, but since my grandma passed away a few weeks ago, my grandpa wants my mom, sis, & I to move in with him so he wouldn't be alone. GGs last night J-nav and luis! We actually kicked some ass last night and got a 7 game win streak. We consistently do well on Base and Capture, but Team Sneak still fucks with us :mad:. The forest stage isn't as dark as I hope it would be, but it still looks pretty good. And WTF at Mei Ling. What is she gonna do, run around hijacking everyone's radar? I at least hope you can say one of her crazy quotes after you win a match lol.

Anyway, In addition to the new stages, we need new crazy costumes. I want BB Hood to sport Fortune's jacket or MGS1 Meryl's tanktop.:mad: I hope it comes out soon.

YEAH!!!! I usually have it on the metal gear theme, or metal gear 2 theme (the old skool ones). Now I'm just leaving music off. I wish they added more music, or even gave you the option of playing music from your HD. That would be a cool feature.
