Import PS2 Controller

Hello. Just curious. I just ordered a REAL converter for my PS3 and would like a new PS2 pad to match. I'm not familiar with the regional hardware differences between PS2s. Will this (http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-m-49-en-70-4lj.html),Dual Shock 2 Controller (Crystal), work? It lists Compatible with PlayStation2: Asia but no other regions.

There is no region ID in the PSX/PS2 controllers. Any one will work on any region system
