I just bought a pair of these controllers:

I can get one to work fine, but can't get the other one to. Whenever I try to use a second controller simultaneously one of them will automatically hold down a direction on the pad even when I don't touch it. I've read reviews saying people had no problem using 2 of them and have looked at Logitech's support site but can't find an answer.

It doesn't matter which controller or receiver I use the problem always happens so I don't think either is defective. Anyone have any experience with these or have any ideas of what I can do to fix this?

If I remember correctly you have to "sync" them together. I think you have to push the button on the receiver, and then push the X button on the controller you want to use with that receiver. Then do the same with the other controller.

Thanks but I tried that already. Still had the same problem.

I had a similar problem and "resetting" the pad helped.

"take out one battery and while holding L1 and L2 reinsert the removed battery"

Thanks for reply but problem was fixed awhile ago. It was just that the particular controller was defective. I was able to get my hands on a couple more of these controllers and they all worked fine.
