Needless to say, I'm stoked. Bender's Big Score was bad ass and this is supposedly better?:pray::pray:

What pisses me off is that I've only seen one (incredibly short) commercial for this movie. I haven't seen the Simpson's movie but everyone knew a month in advance when it was coming out--including those who hate the show. Show some love Fox. The re-runs are STILL making money and the fans won't let it die no matter what. It's like Dreamcast of TV shows.

Fox is very flaky. They canceled Married with Children and Family Guy, which IMO was dumb. They've also been known to cancel a whole bunch of other shows with potential.

That's something I really hate about them. It seems like for the most part they'll cancel anything that doesn't make money by the third episode. And then they'll stop advertising for it and changing it's time slot once it gets going.

Oh yeah. This link is a little better. Tells you a little bit about the plot but doesn't really ruin anything.

married with children ran its course. alot of shit happened with that show..i mean buck was like 13 when he started and like 20 wen he was done.

pegs lost a baby during the show.

it definetly ran its course.

Yeah, you know a show is done when they had to replace THE DOG!

Though it was a good show, it was time to hang up the Hooters magazine and NO MA'AM shirt.

I saw Beast with a Billion Backs already, too. =D

Peg was allright, but lets face it, Al carried that show by himself. That's no knock on anyone else on the show, but Al is gdlk.

Family guy got a cancel it deserved, Futurama on the other hand got squandered in mediocre timeslots, football and lack of advertising.

I'm a little dissapoint we didn't get a full-fledged revival. Movies are great, but I wanted my series back.

Fox thought it was doing a great thing getting rid of the cartoons. It took Adultswim making a freaking killing on its leftovers to show it how wrong it was.

Adultswim is about 50/50 now.

Yeah beast with a billion backs, i saw it yesterday the dvd rip is out on the internet.

when i first read the very interesting title, and the description that the beast is the size of a planet, i had this super bad ass crazy monster in my head. if you are thinking along the same lines, you shall be disappointed. it's pretty funny however, the plot is not as strong as bender's big score, but it makes up for that in many small jokes; be warned, do not rely on the slap stick humor

Too many reruns killed Futurama for me. Now I just wish it would go away. If they stopped showing the reruns for a couple years, then brought them back right before showing the new eps, that would have been cool, but the fact that they seemingly NEVER stopped running Futurama made me tired of the show in general.

Good news, it IS coming back as a series, via Comedy Central (last I heard).

Yes, because you HAD to watch reruns. Ugh.

I hope this is better than the previous Futurama movie. Bender's Big Score seemed like it was just trying too hard to cram everything from the TV show, including pointless one-shot characters, into the movie just out of excitement or something, whether they made sense to be there or not. I also thought the plot was kinda predictable and it really just didn't make me laugh much.

Adultswim is often the only thing to watch at night. Thankfully they moved the reruns to another channel...Comedy Central. Now I have to put up with fuckin' Inuyasha. Still more entertaining. Hopefully they will keep doing new eps of Futurama and not over-do reruns of the new eps...whenever they finally get around to showing them. If those ever come out. They seem to only be working on these movies. I've heard that they plan to split up the movies into multiple parts ala Family Guy and air them on tv as eps.

That's right. There's not actually gonna be new episodes like Comedy Central says. Fox would want them aired by them first.
