If we have never seen it, I'm just going to guess its pretty bad. If it was good, it would have gotten into our hands by now.

The studio was located in the twin towers which was taken down on 9/11, RIP BTM. Its not due to it not being good.

I've seen a little bit of it and it looked pretty interesting. I think the main reason it's not all over YouTube or some shit is because it was released originally long before that shit and wasn't really distributed all that much. I think the couple people who have the video just held onto it so that it wasn't gonna go bleeding all over YouTube like everything else does these days.

word on the street is that aminorthreat is true, but there are very few copies that are still floating around. don't expect it to hit any torrent sites soon (or ever).
it's actually worth watching if you have seen it already. if you can, try to get live special side commentary from one of the cast members--it makes it way more enjoyable :P

Well. anyone going to evo is probly already a fighting game fan. But if the video was more widley avalable, it would more likely be able to be watched (and potentially enjoyed) by a non fighting game fan, and they might even enjoy it and gain an interest in the fighting game scene. Thus helping the comunity. So i guess no, its not hurting the scene, but i dont think its helping either.

Oh God. Another Bang The Machine thread.
It's unlikely to ever be released. The SRK administrators and older players that have copies are not going to pirate it.
*MAYBE years from now it'll be distributed as some kind of bonus to SRKers/Evo attendees. MAYBE.*

Something I don't understand is this. If there is at least enough footage to be shown at somewhere like Evo, why it can't be remastered and made into whatever it can be made into. Surely enough people would buy it, even that way the creators would make some profit off their hard work, even though their offices were destroyed. Of course their might only be a short ammount of footage, I don't know, but why something can't be done about saddens me...

Because most geeks are stingy/petty (I saw it, you didn't noob) and or as stated before can be used as an incentive to get more participants at EVO.

i don't know exactly if this is from "Bang" but i think i remember seeing a clip of some guy sayin (in a super serious voice while swearing on Thor's hammer) "Maaaan nobody gets a perfect on Alex vale, NOBODY! i don't give a shit who you are." or some shit like that and lost all interest at all in seeing the film after that.
had they dubbed over that scene with dick suckin/smackin sound effects, it would have been perfect.
just one mans opinion
now if that isn't from "Bang" then forget i ever made this post......minus my opinion on that scene.

All this fuss over a documentary? I figured you were talking about some new fighter or an old gem.
