Will SF4 Be Released for MAC????

I know that SF4 will be released on PC but how about MAC?


What do you think will be the system requirements for this game? I'm hoping not that high but have no idea.

Maybe for a BigMac they'll release it on Commodore64. But seriously, MAC isn't that bad when it comes to video game compatibility, so most likely you will see it there, but don't take my word for it. Also system requirements should be, a good PC. My definition of one, 9600 GT, 2gb RAM, INTEL DUAL CORE processor and you should be fine to run Crysis.

I highly doubt you'll see it on the Mac. There's little support for gaming on the Macintosh platform, because the people are Apple have never made enough of an effort to work with developers.

Your only bet will be emulation, or installing Windows natively on it.

My PC isn't very optimized with today's gaming standards unfortunately...

I got a Pentium 4 processor, 700something MB of ram, Nvidia TI graphic card. Do you guys think this current set up would still be able to run SF4?

If not, how many upgrades do you think I will need to get and how much would it cost? If it's a couple hundred bucks I might as well get an Xbox 360 (will it be released on PS3 too)although I don't like any games other than SF3 and HOPEFULLY SF4 (haven't played it)

On a side note: If I were to get PS3 or Xbox360(Strictly for SF4 online) what platform would be better? Do I have to pay for online capability for either system??

Ram and a new graphics card will put you back about 300, give or take.

MACs haven't ever been too good for gaming, so get a windows emulator or something. =/

PS3 has PSN which is free and ATM is slightly behind XBL as far as quality goes.
X360 has good ol XBL which is like 50$ a year or some shit.

Go to General Discussion and read the PS3 and X360 threads to see what you're getting into. Right now there's no reason for Capcom to NOT release it for both systems, so it turns into "which system has more games that I like".

I'm gonna close this because I can see this thread getting worse. Read around the SF4 forums for more info on the game, and read those threads in General Discussion to get an idea of what you want out of a console.
