The Japanese and MvC2

:confused: I check the boards and there was no thread about it so I decided to make one myself! When I watch marvel matches I noticed its ALWAYS AT EVO! Why isnt MvC2 popular over in Japan, and why they dont play it like any other competitive arcade game such as 3s,GGAC,Tekken, etc? Dont flame me if its a dumb question just curious!
