i am not a big anime fan
but this seems kind of interesting and i might give it a looksee

never read the original, but it looks like they are totally avoiding any popular marvel characters like silver sam and sunfire

might be goooood

Admittedly I'm a little biased on this one... but from what I've been told so far you can expect a fairly light hearted, fun book with some pretty stellar art and not the usual Claremont long winded exposition.

Definitely worth a look-see.

I got the first issue of the original series and didn't care for it. Hopefully it will be better this time around.

Nakayama's artwork is a huge improvement over the original, I'll say that much.

Same here I hope this one will be good, the first series wasn't all that interesting.

I thought the story was pretty cool but much like Deadpool I'm in it mostly for the artwork - which is great! The Miyazaki and Tezuka references in the story were pretty funny though.

It had good action which entertained me, was OK with the art though.

Thought so, though C. Honey sounds more plausible than Honey Lemon to me :P

Second issue was fun!

I liked the Marvel History of Japan in the book, which they probably lifted from the Marvel Universe Atlas books. I have the first issue of Atlas but it is sitting in my rather huge pile of MU comics that I have to get around to reading lol! I didn't know that Marvel still acknowledges GODZILLA attacking Japan in their universe! That's what I'm talking about Gojira in 616! Can I get a retarted Elephant sounding growl like the big bad green lizard makes, word!

Marvel had the license to Godzilla in the 70s. He met a lot of Marvel characters during that run. I knew that Marvel still acknowledged Monster Island because that has been part of the Marvel Universe books for quite some time but not Godzilla! And of course Savage Land has become the default Dinosaur Island for Marvel anyway. Kewl.
