"In that video El Fuerte does not chain together infinite FP cancels. He chains some together to dizzy the opponent and then repeats a similar combo to win in one round, but that hardly constitutes the use of the term 'infinite'," a spokesperson told Eurogamer.
"Let's wait and see what the Japanese players say about the tiering before we hastily condemn anything. El Fuerte is currently considered the weakest player in the game, and I doubt this ultra-difficult combo will suddenly push him above Blanka and Sagat."
Everyone knows this crap is a LOOP!
I have to admit that Fuerte can start such a hurt train now, but lose in a flash
I saw a really good fuerte today, lose off his ass because a zangief was spamming lariat inbetween all his crazy shit. I couldn't believe it. It was almost more funny than sad.

It's a loop, not an infinite. I got pissed when noobs started calling it an infinite. Even at the arcade!!! I had to start correcting people and explaining it to them as well. Also, it doesn't even do Fuerte any justice either, it doesn't do nearly enough damage to give like a HUGE advantage. Easy to come back imo. I can't believe peeps are still bitching about this. Shut your ass up and enjoy the fuckin game.

I think you're all missing the point, this reply has nothing to do with whether it is actually an infinite or not. Inescapable combinations that obliterate an opponent without the possibility of escape are not good press for a game that hasn't been released on consoles yet. Regardless of whether or not the infinite hurts the game, which has yet to be seen, it carries the possibility of making the game look bad to casual users. In my opinion it looks like Capcom is doing a little damage control.
I want to learn EF now for this.
buahahahahahahahahahahahah

A sequence off attacks that is repeatable over and over until the opponent is dead is a "Who the fuck cares!"
Either way it is in the game for now. Only Capcom knows what Capcom is going to do about it, if anything at all.

To me, this means that if it actually IS an infinite- we cannot say that Capcom intended it to be part of the game.
What if it's a ToD or redizzy though?

I think the more amazing thing about this game is that someone from Capcom actually responded to something in a SF game.
Even though they rushed the shit out of this game, it seems like they actually don't want it to be all fucked up.
Imma lol super hard if the updated console version is a huge arcade patch and makes the game a whole lot better.
Of course, a man can dream, but still, who doesn't that will be like totally bizarro world?
1. SF4 is actually out
2. Capcom would be updating a game they made, actually showing some form of caring about their fans.
3. Banana.
