Smoking in the Dorm

Seriously. I live on the third floor of my dorm building (top floor) and about 4 rooms away from my RA. I'm fiending but I don't really know how to go about it without being super paranoid. I don't have my car on campus anymore so I can't just go out somewhere and smoke and as of right now I have no resources other than my bong. I'm tempting to just make a spliff and say fuck it but there will still be some smoke and that isn't all that reassuring.

So how did yall/ or do yall smoke at school?

don't do it. trust me, smoking weed is literally a stink bomb, and i have been in countless instances where people a great distance away could smell it.

if you are using some sort of device like a pipe, bubbler, whatever, that device itself will stink up your room (with the exception of a bong)

if you are using a joint/blunt, GGPO. those things STINKKKKKKKKK, and they stink up your fingers/clothes

just go outside behind a building or something, go for a walk through the park. smoking + indoors = fail. unless its your apartment/home.


in California weed laws are really relaxed, i hear they don't fuck around in Maryland though. Half of those "Busted" instances on MTV are in Maryland i've observed.

The dorms here have detectors that cause the fire alarm to go off in the entire building when triggered. Last year it went off once just from the steam of a shower. Yes, we had to evacuate and the fire department came and investigated. Yes, it was like 3 in the morning and cold as fuck. Yes, it definitely sucked... especially after finding out what caused it and all the girl (who took the shower) could say was:

make a spoof, or thats what we called it, its a paper towel roll carboard filled with dryer sheets, it helps neutralize the smell. but you need alot of them sheets. when you take a hit blow it in there, it'll make it smell alot less like weed. then you need a big window fan pointed out of the window, this will get rid of most of the smoke if you blow into it. then make sure you line the floor of your door with a towel.

thats about all i got, but i never got caught doing it in a dorm this way.

Or invest in Edibles... or even turn your bud into Green Dragon (ferment your bud in a high alcohol drink for 2 weeks) for highs without the smoke.

Yea this is the best method, just make sure you use a lot of drier sheets, like the whole package. Hope this works, enjoy and stay safe

Thanks for the responses. I just really had an urge to smoke tonight, but I covered it with doing alot of studying and pointless extra credit. I'm going to Lafayette this weekend to visit a friend and he said I can smoke in his dorm so I'll get it all out tomorrow night. I just don't know what'll happen next time I have an urge and no hw =/

don't even bother smoking in the dorms, it's not worth it. I'd either go in a friends car and go on a burn cruise, or if you are by a park or wilderness area, do it there, if not, go find a secluded area or somewhere where there is light traffic.

If your looking for a stealthy way to get high try and invest in a vaporizer, practically no smell. I say practically because you can only smell what you exhale for like a couple seconds and its only in your area, also it doesnt smell like weed what so ever so yeah no worries there.

well wtf?!?!!!?!? that's such a secluded campus and i'm sure you could walk like 500 ft from your dorm and find some area to smoke.

Fan at the window, Air Filter running all the time(works really well sometimes), and the dryer sheet in a toilet paper carboard roll, that's true too it works.

Now I don't smoke, but that's what I see in places where people give a fuck about getting caught.


ninja edit: Also if you somehow burn the carpet it costs a lot to replace, in fact too much, but that's the price of smoking in the dorm.

Still not worth it though, don't know if your campus does surprise inspections or health and awareness bullshit, but a couple people at the college I went to got caught red handed and they had multiple methods, just bad timing.

I used to smoke in my dorm and my RA was my suitemate. Windows open, fans, towels under doors, wookies, etc. In the dorms that allow tobacco smoking it was even cooler. I got reprimanded by my RA for noise and having a dog in the dorm. Never once was the smoking even mentioned. Oh, good times.

...I was in a room getting blasted in college without these devices, RA called the police and my friend got kicked out of school (he had a 1/2 pound in his room like a dumbass). He got cuffed and taken out.

Towel to the door and just blow it out the window and if someone knocks on your door tell them to fuck off. I smoke in my room at home and my parents never know JUST MAKE SURE YOU BLOW IT OUT THE WINDOW!
