It's a very good show. I'm not much of a fan of television though, so I don't watch it regularly. Actually I don't even know when it's on. But when I've seen it from randomly switching channels I'll pretty much always watch it. Pretty much this will only happen when I'm running on a treadmill.

I have almost every episode burned into my brain. But Season 7, although it had some good episodes, it was kinda iffy for me. The first few episodes weren't that good, and airing episode 9 as the season finale was just :confused: In earlier seasons they had the balance between storylines and comedy, but in the last season it seemed like they were just going for the comedy, and whatever story they used seemed forced.

Well, first they thought that Season 6 was going to be the final season (which was their reason for killing off Laverne; they had to have at least one big tragedy before the series came to a close). Then they got renewed for the seventh (their reason for bringing in Shirley), they probably did have to rush some stuff and sacrifice quality for the deadlines. Then the writer's strike hit...

Because of this show, I've had a unwavering weakness for Sarah Chalke since high school. Still do. I've watched each season 1-6 at least eight times in full. I can recite every single girls name that Cox has addressed Dorian with, almost in order as well.

I like Zach Braff, but I don't like JD.

JD's a bitch. Almost every episode he fucks up in a spectacular way, completely destroying friendships, does next to nothing about it and at the end of every episode, everything's alright again.

That having been said, yes I like Scrubs, the secondary characters really make the show work for me though. (Dr. Cox and Kelso combo, with Janitor assist.)

Well you know it is moving to ABC now and after next season(8), they want to do another season if it does well rating wise. Just a few problems with that, though. Bill Lawrence, one of the creators isn't coming back if they do a 9th season nor are JD or Carla. Personally I think the show could handle losing the main character because the supporting cast is so strong.

I honestly don't see how anyone can not feel anything watching those two scenes. The show is incredible and very well written. It takes you on a roller coaster of emotions. That is the sign of a great show. It's not always funny, because life isn't funny 100% of the time. Mrs. Wilks dying was a sad moment, too. Damn you, Cabbage!!!

I love the show. And yes I am black.

But yeah, the later seasons seem like someone picked up most of the show's better writers and thrown them into a dark closet and let random monkeys fling poo at cliche story ideas. There are a couple of gems, but a lot of lame stories when they really focus on the hospital stories or anyone but Dr. Cox or Kelso.

Still a very good show overall due to the strength of previous seasons and of course The Todd.

I have the same problem with it that I did with Friends. It's far too melodramatic for a sitcom.

You must not have watched episodes of M.A.S.H where they focus on the Korean War.

Loved it, I remember when it first aired on NBC, Friends was still on but it was slowing down and Scrubs was so fresh, the central character was kind of a wuss but like many here have said, the supporting cast is the greatest I've seen so far.

One other thing about Scrubs is how it can make unfunny people like Brandon Fraiser funny, and by the time the episode ends, you actually start to care and feel sad for his character on the show. All the other movie stars goes on to TV shows for cameo appearances are just like that, appearances, Scrubs actually make you feel they really thought and wrote a good story for these movie stars.

I cant stand this show. I dont find it funny. Something about the way the jokes are delivered gets to me. They try and stuff jokes into the dramatic moments or drama in the comdey moments and it kills it. And yea, I'm white.

I have tried several times. I recognize that it's a reasonably good show that at least is not overly formulaic. But I just can't get into it.

i dont got a problem w/ the formula. it just stopped bein funny and became too cartoony/wacky. shit gets tired when it's been done for so long. hard to keep it fresh.

last ep. was decent. there were a few moments that werent funny. but all around, a classy way to bow out.

I agree, I hope it is the last episode as well, because I hear most of the main cast has already lined up gigs that would mean at best they might make recurring or guest spots.

But I like to think it got some of its early season groove back with this last season and honestly two of the interns Denise/Jo and Sunny were pretty funny, so I'd probably would give another season a chance. But yeah, there probably isn't much more they can really do with the stories.

Still, I liked this season and the ending was well done.

I love how they completely ignore the fact that JD has another kid in that "fantasy ending". In pre-season interviews they said that there would be cameos from his baby's momma and his first ex gf that was a druggie. Owell, great ending otherwise

They didn't ignore the other kid, pretty sure he was there. The first ex that was a druggie might have been in the hallway sequence (Hooch, Lonnie and the Guitar guy that sings the opening) but baby mama was in the previous episode before this finale.

It started dying when Season 6 started and when into full blown AIDS in Season 7. Season 2 was the best by far with season 1 and 3 being right behind them.
