Combo used mostly Rog, used Dhalsim vs. Paul (in what was the 2nd best match of the tournament, CRAZY intense) and used Dhalsim in grand finals.

This was a great tournament, everyone played really well. Skill level in SoCal is really high; pretty much everyone who showed up today has leveled up their game lately. Hopefully the next wave of tournaments are even better.

This was the first tournament of any sort (video games that is) that I have ever been to, and my did it blow my expectations out of the water... I cringed at the edge of my seat watching the Moval vs Ross fight... words cannot explain, you just gotta check that shit out~

Man oh man, what a tournament. Thanks to the owners for actually throwing this event and honoring everything they said. If there's another tournament (regardless of payout), I'm there...I love the cabinet there, even if I missed stuff on it here and there. Thanks to everyone for the props.

For those who weren't there, pray for vids. Last 8 or 9 matches were too hot, primarily valle vs. edma and ross vs. moval.

Shout outs to all those who brought that passion in an effort to touch paper. The level of comp here made me happy cause it shows that everyone is trying to level up, not just a select few as was the case with the other games.

To all the people I played today; the matches could've went either way. I guess it was just my lucky day (especially against Paul..who's much too sick). Thanks for the good games all.

High fives to everyone who played well, the matches today were INCREDIBLE! Everyone rose to the occasion and really leveled up their game. It's amazing how many close matches there were, especially Ross vs. MOVAL and Valle vs. Ed Ma. Amazing! ggs everyone, socal is on fire!

the moval v ross match was EPIC! not only for the play but for the CROWD, man you would have thought it was justin versus daigo, for dat heat.

valle vs. edma was INSANE seeing alex get outaggressed in shoto v shoto play has to be something that i never think i've seen GJ ED!


and also, thx to edma for trying to calm me down when i was losing... i dont think i've ever played that bad. so help was much appreciated.

-ross' honda is no joke.
-valle's knowledge of shoto v shoto is bar none.
-ed is an asshole. :wink:
-never drink 192 ounces (roughly 15-16 cans) of mr. pibb within 2-3 hours. :wasted:
-viscant is a really smart player.
-paul is still my sf4 hero. :lovin:
