Medium Trial Mode

So, basically I'm going through some of the combos in the Vega Trial Mode and I believe I am on the third, or probably the fourth one.

It goes like this:

- [jump] High Kick
- Medium Kick
- Light Rolling Crystal Flash

I do hold down the (back) button as soon as I start jumping. I land both kicks but the rolling attack never connects on time. Dan either blocks it, or I hit it too late and only come out with a two hit combo.

As you can probably tell, I am new to the SF scene, but I am getting used to the mechanics of the game pretty quick. I am having some trouble pulling off some basic combos though.

Any help will be much appreciated.

:mk: -> :lp: RCF is a cancel. (It sounds like you're trying to link it)

Press :r:+:lp: as soon as the :mk: hits.

Mmmm... I'm watching the segment from the vid a few times and I'm gonna give it a shot when I head back home. Looks exactly like what I've been doing, just a tad bit faster. Yeah, it seems like I've got the timing wrong by a mili-second or two.

Meh, I've checked out the video and tried it out at home. However, I keep failing at connecting it like a combo. It is minute 2:35 on the video by the way.

Anyone else with any idea what I am doing wrong?

Edit: Watched video again and it seems like Vega here is pulling off the roll a bit faster than I am. However, I've tried to do just that, but when I try to input the command just a bit faster nothing happens.

I tried it hundreds of time. I rebinded my LP to the MP button, so they are beside each other and executed it.

Well, got no stick yet :(

This is the same one I got stuck on. Gave up on the trials at that point. I really dont need to be aggravated by a videogame.

combo is useless anyway, no point to end a combo with Claw Roll when you have his Flip Kick.
