I tried to play against Advent Buri (Eli) but wouldn't connect with him for some reason. I seem to have issues connecting with players that live minutes away. :looney:

Oh and GG's to Your Master. I was always buffering the EX seismo too fast after close s.HP and getting owned. Good thing I'm just starting the game so I have a lot to make up for. Your shotos are solid already and you already understand the corner cross up game in SFIV. Being able to always cross people up in the corner is nuts. I got hit by that all day. GG's man.

Shout out to the boy Silent Legend. Damn this game is bringing back the good memories of CVS2 online last gen, minus droppers and a whole lot less lag. Good games earlier, cousin.

Also good games to that Fei Long guy who thwarted my Balrog's plans to get 10 in a row at my 8th match. Close matches, but then we turned around and played again in another Ranked match and he still came out on top. Those were ridiculously close. All three rounds came down to this - much health.

Good games to just about everyone I played tonight/this morning/whatever. I'm loving the game, but I really need to raise my level on Abel and CV, the first two new characters I decided to pick up.

I was so pissed off he lost his chains that I really hadn't give him a good try but after playing you and experimenting a bit I came up with a few mix up strats from A3 that worked pretty well, provided I can get in close enough to the shotos to use them.

I agree. I wish I could learn faster, but hey, what can you do? Especially in a tourney, that's why I get there early and play matches against the different people. Try to see their game and style, and see if you can come up with a counter against it. Sure, you might lose the practice rounds, *like I did*, but you'll have a better shot at winning the tourney, *which I did* because you were able to build up a strategy. :)

Something my older brother taught me back in the SNES SF days. Shame he can't play fighting games today...*long story, believe me*
