which is a more reliable crossup? j.mk or j.hp?

I've been using j.mk but saw that some of you use j.hp. So which one is more reliable? Of course the hp will do more damage, but does it hit reliably against all opponents?

J.HP only crosses up in the corner, j.mk crosses but its hard to land on some characters you have to make sure you do it deep enougth.

just started using rose i was only able to get a cross-up using j.hp once against blanka without using the corner. Her j.mk cross-up is less complicated its guaranteed all the time.
