Sorry guys but what is this move? People mention it but i have no idea what it is and how to do it?

What are its advantages?

It's like extending the range of a move with another move.

A Kara Tiger Knee would be performed by performing a F+LK, which is the low step kick. Then as soon as you've finished that motion you do the motion for a Tiger Knee. The result would be that you see Sagat do a small step forward and suddenly do the Tiger Knee.

It's uses are closing distance very quickly. Or if your opponent loves to shoot fireballs at a long distance, you can anticipate them and close the distance easily by performing a Kara Tiger Knee (with high kick, though).

Kara is that chick whose ass you pinched in grade nine. You laughed and quickly took a few steps back and you thought you were far enough away that she couldn't grab you but then WHAM all of a sudden she's tossing you onto the floor and everyone is watching you get beat up by a girl. She always did have freaky arms...

Does this also work with lp+lk throws? Nothing is listed under Sagat under the main sf4 forums under the kara throw topic.

the :lk: kara goes farther and its easier to cancel
the :hk: kara is faster and its harder to cancel
i would experiment to find what suits you best
also these do not work for throws

Yeah I am pretty sure Sagat does I am a nub and I was playing Sagat on Live and this dude would whiff with the fierce kick and the next thing I knew I was getting thrown even though he was way too far away to do a throw I asked somebody about that and they said it's called a kara throw so yeah I would say yes
