Hi there, well I'm looking to work on my match up against Guile ... I can't seem to do much against turtle Guiles with my Chun so I need people I can practice against if they're willing to help.
My GT is ahkeentayway

Hi,
we could do some matches tomorrow if you like. I'm think I'm a solid Guile around 2000-2500 BP. Normally I don't abuse Guiles turtling ability too much but since I lost a couple of games recently because I tried to rush-down to much against good players (also few Chun Lis) I think about it
The problem might the timezones so where are you from? I'm from Germany so when I start playing in the evening at 8 pm it's about 2 pm at the east coast of the states.
Well, okay, I'll just add you to my friends list and we'll see what happens, okay?
Cheers,
Dave :wgrin:

@Hoppa:
Great thing, you're very welcome! I rather have a bunch of good people around on xbl than random ragequitters and people who hatemessage me just cause I threw them more than once in a round (and since I'm playing low-tier-Guile I'm always wondering what they would suggest I should do since Guile's options aren't the best).
So feel free to add me for some good training games!
P.S.: Australia rocks! I will be there in October!

I'm in Illinois, so 2pm on the east coast would be Noon for me, and you don't have to be Superb, I'm very terrible against Guiles for some reason.

Oh nice, I used to live in the Gold Coast :wgrin:
But yeah, add away the more friends from here the better.

I find Chun as one of Guile's tougher matchups. Her hcb+k is a Guile killer.

It can be FA if you get predictible with it. I sometimes prepare for it then if i connect a Lvl2 focus attack i usually dash forward and then C MP > Flash kick... If i ended up not charging for the flash kick then i simply throw

Thanks Rable1980, although we couldn't play because Xbox Live didn't let us for some weird reason ... It still won't let me connect to invited games wth. @_@

As a Guile user, the main advice i can provide (without giving too much away) is to have plenty of patience and try and capitalise on any mistakes that he makes liked missed flash kicks etc. im not gonna tell you everything lol but another thing to try is stuff his charge up and this will take away some of his main weapons.

Nice one, Australia is a great place to visit depending on what you want to do... I was in Germany (Munich) a couple of years back but missed the oktoberfest and really wanted to see what it was like. As for getting hate messages, I just tell those people to stop complaining and just play and that they were just not good enough to win.
I'm busy over the next few days but i'll definitely add you when im online again

I think I've played against you a couple of times. You taught me the fireball + Hazan Shuu to the point where against most Chun players I'm thinking block high first.
You can hit me up if I'm online. I'm can be on Eastern Time, from 7pm - 1am, although sometimes I work from home.

I figured out the problem resided with my cheap ass ISP, I noticed I suddenly couldn't connect to players outside the U.S.
It's been resolved though. We should try again sometime.

Haha, good stuff. I'll hit you up for sure. I'm still sucking at this matchup for some reason.
