Mirror Matches

I think I have a good Cammy but I have not won a single mirror match in ranked matches and I have come to the conclusion that I really bad at mirror matches. Does anyone have this problem as well and can anyone post any suggestions on facing another Cammy.

Crouch block a lot and fadc your cannon spikes when you have bar so she dies fastest. Not a lot is good vs Cammy I find as the other Cammy can punish the hell out of you. Crouch block and look for counters.

Had an intense vs Cammy fight tongiht and FP was amazing. It beat a lot of stuff and left me pretty safe.

Try not to drill or spike unless you know they will hit. From my experiences, usually the cammy that drills less wins. I wouldn't even try to oki her, unless you can condition her not to spike on wakeup. I think Cannon strike trades with Spike at best, so Cannon strike pressure would be a bad idea, especially if she has full Revenge.

So just bait spikes and punish them. Always be ready to block low and punish drills. Do that, and you should be fine, unless the other Cammy has the same thing in mind. That's when the fun begins.

Last, at all costs, make yourself crouch when you see hooligan. I fall for hooligan so much, even though I KNOW that all I have to do is crouch it It's just so damn hard to stop myself from standing up. :sweat:

occasional lk.cannon drill, dash back(when the other cammy do cannon drill), cannon drill also seems to be quiet effective if you got bored seeing two cammy sitting down on their buns ... ;)

I wouldn't throw out drills ever.

Don't bait the opposing Cammy for a Cannon Spike with a wake up FADCb, you'll get Ultra'ed.

Drills are OK to use in combos. Don't be afraid to use them.

If you throw out a drill and it gets blocked, try following it up with a Cannon Spike. You don't have anything to lose by trying since you'll get hit anyway.

If you use a Hooligan and they crouch, cancel the Hooligan at the last second and just do a normal throw.

For Cammy vs Cammy just try to block low as much as possible and punish with like hk --> spiral and use anti air if you can when they jump in/dive kick..

Look for definate hits! just wait for her to whiff a canon spike (trust me it always happenns). The FD, cr. lp, cr.lp, cr. lk, canon drill and if you have it revenge or ultra after canon drill and you will see her shaking in her panties, I promise. Then justr try and do some simple combos and try and resist spamming ur specials.

hm, I found that lk.cannon drill from a full screen will stop quiet a distance away from the other Cammy, at worst if they do a hk.cannon drill on reaction it will trade(?) at best it will whiffed and you can backdash and do another cannon drill to punish or block the incoming cannon drill and do your combo

so the lk.cannon drill if for baiting the other Cammy to make their move, otherwise the game will become very boring


btw, is it just me or is there are more Cammy player (in PSN at least) recently ?

That could still work to your advantage if the ultra connects during your dash. You'll just get popped up for a single weak hit and you don't have to worry about the ultra anymore.
