Looking for options to improve fei's mix-up game, sans the regular stuff ie; boring jmk crossup. Effective, but im looking for more complex set ups. Like Chromes idea, whitch im starting to see in more videoes, of using the overhead as a crossup. Was looking in the Sakura thread, and there was some discussion of an Air to Air, followed by a dash under-mixup. Thought this might work pretty well for Fei, seeing how fast his dash is.
Maybe an Air to Air jHP, dash under>>overhead, or tenshin. Or maybe, while opponent is on his back, overhead mixup, followed by j.mk crossup. I dunno, theory fighter at this point. Thoughts?

dash under>>tenshin=fucking awsome. if timed right they cant do anything but look at the sweet ass combo you just did.

i wonder if we got any dash cancel normals...imma check this out in training mode in a min. might get lucky with st mk\fp into dash which would just be lovely.

How does forward+mk overhead work as a mix-up exactly?
I've seen it in videos, but I'm not entirely sure how it works. Do you just use it as they are still laying on the ground and it'll work? Does it only work on small characters? Because for some reason I tried to do it vs Ryu and Guile yesterday and epic failed. Is there a strict timing for it?

No, not strict timing, just get close while they re still on the ground. if the ryu is mashing out a dp for a wake up reversal, and you switch sides early enough to avoid the auto correct, he wont get his dp as quickly cuz he was inputing the wrong way, giving you attack advantage. works good if a charge character is trying to charge a b,f type move. ie; balrogs ultra

dunno if this is a mix up but the back dash bait works wonders

I would like to see some video proof of this fMK mix-up shenanigans.
I tried it a couple times the last few days and it just ends up in shoryu's or grabs... seems like a gimmick to me.

It's pointless, it doesn't confuse anyone and it's way too risky to try to use.
That "Advanced play video" shows it.

f.mk is best if used as a meaty overhead to allow for combos or against moves likes blanka's cr.fp slide, dhalsim's slide, rose's slide, cant think of anymore but any of those attacks. it'll lead to counter hit if timed properly and then punishment.
