Thought this might be an interesting topic...
but what do you guys do to prepare for matches, either tourney or online or even for fun?
I typically do a couple of things, I do at least 3 of the hard challenges to warm up my timing, and then I go into practice against a blanka on highest difficulty for a few minutes
anyone else want to share?

get some people over to get a few rounds in, with vega most of his combos are easy to pull so i practice ex focus cancels out of my block strings to go for throws or stuff like that

mmm Starting the day.
For warming up I head to training mode, set the com to Sagat, and try to land the following:
5 ultras in a row
5 supers in a row, grabbing each time
This warms the thumbs up. After this, I do
5 MP -> Lrollflash links in a row,
5 JHP - > HP cancel to Hrollflash in a row
3 JHP -> LP -> MP -> LScarTer -> ExScarTer in a row
and
5 Izuma drops from a regular flying barcelona with them just standing.
This just kinda gets my hand muscles ready for the day and helps me focus a little more
After that I set the comp level to max, and beat him up for about 3 minutes. Then I head to the internet and fight some people.
Thats all I do.
Thats about it.

@PhinnyCupcakes:
AMEN. I just practise some combos in Training, then play 2-3 games with CPU on hardest and I'm ready.

I just start playing. I'm a bit worse before I get rolling, sure, but I don't really care. I mostly visit training mode after I play people, to recreate things I had difficulty dealing with or practice combos I dropped.

I'd say a good thing you can do is remember the combo they got on you, and if you are able to pull it off yourself, set the training mode to record, do that combo, set it to playback, and then think of different ways to overcome that combo. (is there a certain move you can use? or do you just have to block?)

I just jump right into ranked. Immersion and all that.
