I have been following Duke Nukem Forever for 12 years now and it has been cancelled. Take 2 has now sued 3D Realms for not producing the game has cost Take 2 12 million dollars.
This is a sad moment. The game seemed to be coming along and even after the cancellation news, several in game screenshots were leaked and two in game development reels were released which showed a very good looking game.
Now, G4 and IGN have stated this could be the largest hoax in the video game industry. The site savedukenukem was created a day before 3Drealms was closed and the site was leaked the day it was cancelled but Take 2 says that all the employees were laid off so it could be a disgruntled employee showing off his creation as part as his resume as he searches for a new job.
Either way, this is a sad conclusion to a bizarre 12 year saga. :crybaby:
