Fadc!

What is good in El Fuerte`s FADC? I mean like ryo & Sagat & Rufus can do some good damage using FADC but i cant find any thing to do with El Fuerte`s

I had this crazy idea of doing a jumping HP > close HP > FADC > close HK > Guac

I don't know if it would actually work or be worth the effort, but I thought it would be something pretty crazy to do. I tried to do it for a few minutes but couldn't.

Something more useful would be FADCing a punch or something into a throw to surprise someone.

I'm sure there are uses, I just don't know if it works that well with the rest of Fuerte's game. He just isn't the jabby long string combo sort of fella. Really haven't explored it too much, the RSF is all the combo you need really.

edit: or atleast all I've really needed so far.

RSF, spamming splash on wakeup. Do we all have to play the same way in SF4 to win?

I'll gladly do something else if it's more handy or whatever, but the RSF is really one of the scariest things ElF has against other people. And splash on wake-up is like Fuerte's main thing.

Splash on wakeup is NOT Fuerte's main thing at all. In fact it is his most easily escaped pressure tool. Sure you can use it all day on terrible xbox live players, but anyone who thinks about it is just going to focus it and make you eat a huge damage combo. Non adaptive players just panic and try to 50/50 block it, while a player who will calmly think about it realizes you just focus absorb it either way and/or backdash. Of course, if a Fuerte player realizes you can't find a solution to splashes, why would he do anything else?

On topic, FADC is a waste of meter for Fuerte. I think the only special move he could really do it with is quesadilla bomb and even then it would be for safety if it were blocked (not sure how safe/unsafe it is). Two EX bars are much better used as a rare escape with EX guacamole or EX run in certain matchups. You could make an awkward block string out of canceling a normal into FADC, and just charge the focus to level 2 and hope for a stun I guess. S.hk isn't going to combo after anything except a focus crumple, so forget trying to work that in there.

Occasionally I will FADC a close MP into throw if it will win the round. I agree that his FADC is just a waste and that you may as well be saving up for super if you're FADCing with Fuerte. If the round is literally over in one more hit I will HP-> EX focus for style points sometimes, cause his EX focus is fucking awesome looking!

The Launcher HK starts up way too slow and you'll get thrown. (which mechanica pretty much said as well)

"just a waste" might be a little harsh, as I'm sure there is atleast something that can be done with FADC. Possibly a FADC backward into something? I don't know, but I also don't know how I really feel ruling it out altogether just yet. I will say that I personally know of no FADC follow up that justifies the meter as of right now. Hopefully one of the top Fuerte guys will drop some facts on this.

I was thinking about the fadc yesterday with fuerte, and so far I only found that he can cancel a couple of move, specifically only two specials, the run with MK and the Q-bomb. But don't think there's enough time to get in a decent focus attack that will crumple since the stun isn't very long, even with a counter-hit. IMO if you landed it, i'd definitely be luck.
