The purpose of this thread is to just discuss characters that you want to learn with someone else that mains them, in exchange for vice versa. It's a hassle really trying to understand a character in this game, and going back and forth in threads isn't as quick as just talking to someone 1 on 1. So without further ado, I'll start the form.

Interested in learning any other character. I know every combo with tager and I win majority of my games. My worse being against good arakunes, taos and nus. If you want to learn some good setups, strategies, combos, etc with tager and don't mind teaching me something in return for your main I'd appreciate it.

I haven't been to pull of Tagers 6Y > 5D > 636 C > 720 C

But I can tell you how to do it easily, it's just it's rather hard to rotate that fast on a basic 360 controller.

Skill Level: Been playing fighting games for years. Didn't acknowledge the competitive side of fighters until around 3 years ago when I started college. Played Guilty Gear, Street Fighter, Soul Calibur, and Tekken all at casual level. Started diving into the technical side of Guilty Gear and Soul Calibur when I started acknowledging competitive play but never got the chance to go to tournaments for those games in particular. I have minimal tournament experience in SFIV and none in BlazBlue as of currently. I'd consider myself an intermediate level player at best.

Strengths: Nailing combos when opportunity arises. Rushdown game is relatively solid.

Weaknesses: Slight impatience (result of not playing SFIV in a bit, lol), Needs practice IBing at the right moments.

Want to learn: How to handle the top 3 (mainly Arakune) and Carl better. I don't fight Litchi enough either and could use some more experience in that match up.

I played her too defensively so I switched to Nu (didn't find out she was top tier until a month after).

Strengths : I know how to react to counter hit, good zoning, can improvise if something goes wrong, and a solid mixup game.

Strengths: Bragging is for chumps.

Weaknesses: In general, teching throws, escaping Jins ice blocks. Half the time I end up hopping left or right. In specific: the Noel matchup, Litchi matchup and keeping cool under high pressure attack strings like Bang. Nu and Arakune just like any Hakumen I suppose, but I try nonetheless.

I have always enjoyed fighting games. I buy them just because. I tend to play Street Fighter as that seems to be the game that many of my friends played as kids. I got into Tekken because a group of my friends decided to learn the game. I play it but not as much as HDR. I play SFIV but really not a fan so it just sits. I think BlazBlue looks great but there is so much going on and I have no idea what is happening. If someone could sort of work with me initially and get me going I would be fine. Like I said I have huge personal drive. I study videos on youtube when I am not playing. Anyhow if you want to work with me and have some patience let me know.

I'm mostly online in the mornings and the weekends. I just got the game and I really like it. I main Noel but haven't really tried any of the other characters except for Taokaka and Rachael. Just looking to spar against someone who is new to the game, under lvl10, or higher lvls if you can be patient.

I go on a few times a week to practice zoning for CS /\-11, usually between 4-11pm. I can give Rachel practice, but I haven't used her seriously since I saw her drastic changes in CS. Also know basics for almost every character if beginners want to get a general idea on certain matchups.
