Wsup peepz, aight I was just wondering on the topic of Snapback combos since peepz are saying MvC2 is about resets, snapping in assist characters, and guardbreaks nowadays....So go ahead people put up your favorite and tightest Snapback combos! I'm going to practice some right now!:cool:

Magneto- c.hp, sj.hk, ad-df, sj.lk, sj.lk, snapback... It's all about timing the lk's (man is there anything this beast can't do?) don't forget to guardbreak the character that pops in.
You could probobaly do the infinite into it as well cause it's all just SJing and LKing.

never tried it myself,
but i think strider is fast enough with his moves that his ground magic series can chain into the snapback and it will combo
can someone confirm?

I think alota characters have a simple. c.lk, c.lk.xxSnapback or use lp in some cases(like storm.)
Its not big, but it's generic I think.

My fave: wid psy AAA
launch fk dash downforward lk lk rejump j.lk+psy j.lk hypergrav snapback...damage is pretty good for a snapback combo....there are alot more....i'm waayy to0 lazy

i think this can be mashed out of. might as well leave out the hypergrav and just snap as they fall. but then you have a timing issue to deal with.

since people luv mag/psy and nobody has posted this strat for snapback usage....if you eva happen to catch the character on point and assist psy, just dash up, c.lk, c.rh, snapback, dash and infinite the assist!

that's character weight dependent, since against heavy assists, you'll snap the guy out and the assist will whiff and return to base.
better way is to just omit the juggle entirely and do psy hits, dash up snap back, dash forward, c.short, c.fierce.

If you have your opponent in the infinte, why would you wanna snap him out? Just do the proton cannon and kill him... and even if you do snap him out, why would you wanna snap out the char. that just came in?

Good gravy, what is wrong with you people? Snapback has like a 0 frame startup, meaning you can combo it off of virtually anything.

The "THEBIGONE" combo vid had some really nice snapback combos.

more storm snap back combos.... oh and some psylocke snap back combos too. and some sentinel snap back combos.
rocket punch xx hsf, dash xx snapback. courtesy of alex valle at mwc5(?) vs wong.
Ryu: crouching short, standing fierce xx snapback. Too good.
Best snapback I've ever seen is Doom getting his c.fierced blocked by someone who was jumping in...the guy (playing cable) crosses him up as he falls, and Doom tries to call his aaa, but accidentally snaps him out instead, as he lands and tries to attack. That was just sweet, until you realized it was an accident.
Wolverine, speedup infinite into snapback. never done it, but sounds cool.

build meter with infinite.
...i like to mess with my opponents. true, i can always proton cannon them to death....or i can make them die a horrible infinite death..

yeah umm.. when you QCF assist 1 or 2 you knock the char. your playing aginst out of the screen and and send in either of his assists. So my question was when snap back someone how do you make it just a regular hit?
By that I mean QCF assist 1 and their assist isnt sent out instead you can follow up with a combo or something.

The character you're fighting against has to be the only character left on his team.
Basically, he can't have any assists.

I have seen a good snapback must use idea escecially with mag psy . if u hit the opponents point and assist with a snapback and use the snapback on the asssit is out( if 1st assist out use the 1st assit button) u can knock out the point and abuse the assist who is stuck on the screen and then if u didnt kill them u come back anyway for some more pain. usually assist combos are
anyone : fast launcher
mags and others launch do a few hits dash down few more hits launch and repeat and time it so u keep em up. etc.

Does anyone know any flashy snapback combos?
I know i've seen one where Cable throws a grenade outside the screen then snaps the opponent into it then AHVB.
They're pointless to do, but if you want to end it flashy why not?
One simple one i made with Mags: lk,lk, snap, otg lk,slide infinite.
Something like that.

Speaking of flashy snapback combos, is it possible to do combos that include 2+ snapbacks? Or does the first snapback cause flying screen so you cant do it?
For exampe, with mag psy, if you do something like short+psy, snapback, psy will catch them as they fly, preventing them from flying out, and then you can hit them again. Since Ive only done this by accident, I cant recall if you can do anything interesting afterwards.
If you cant do another snapback, does anybody have any styly combos with this meterwasting showoffy technique?
