Well I know for consistency's sake we will most likely get anime prologue's and endings for the new characters, but since this game takes place one year after SF4; would it be right to assume we will be getting new anime for all the existing cast as well?
Is it even feasible to expect new ones? (Budget-wise)

We'll probably get new ones. I hope El Fuerte doesn't look freakishly huge this time.

Id really prefer if they just stuck to the ingame graphics for the intros and endings. The extremely low budget anime stuff looked really bad by comparison.

This by a mile.

I would be completely happy with them removing any story references altogether. Some ST style endings or character footnotes would be ok.
Won't happen though.

The in game pre fight scenes were awesome. Just use that for the intros, endings and shit. God I hate those anime scenes.
It's more consistent, and you get to see the characters do more things when you use the in game models.

What were the arcade SF4 endings like? They weren't anime like the console port, were they?

For amusement purposes, they should do the prologues and endings in live action.
They got costumes (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oXpgI28OQCc).

This would be a great idea - I'm really hoping for better animated sequences this time, or perhaps another idea Capcom has up its sleeve.

I wanna see the special pre-fight cut scenes like they had in SFA3 and the like.

This.
Capcom is a company that can produce great motion capture 3D cutscenes in games like RE, DMC, etc. Even if they do 10% of that kind of effort for SSF4, it'll still be miles ahead of trying to jam in anime art into a game that has a completely different look.
Anime cutscenes work great in BB... but not in SSF4.

Fo serious.
Low end Anime is terrible and in engine conversations are excellent. The in engine stuff is probably cheaper to implement any way.
In engine cut scenes only please.
The SSF4 vids show the SF4 style dynamic camera intros for the new characters (the answer lies.... in the heart of battle. etc) so my hope for character specific intro's like the ones in alpha, cvs and sf3 are dashed somewhat. They still have 6+ months to change that though.. plx capcom :/

all the intros and endings need to make sense this time around...I know some are connected with one another and it was a prelude to the movie ties that bind but come the fuck on..

I prefer No ANIME cut scenes. Just use CGI thoughout the game to make it consistant, and a better indepth story line.

use the in-game engine, or just use static artwork drawn by a competent artist, maybe with voice-overs.
Anything other than what we got in IV. Although, they did give the game a certain comedic element.

I liked the anime cutscenes, but I just wished they were better quality. At least "ties that bind" quality. Right now they are basically a bunch of panning of stills, with some mouth movement. I'm still for them because I love seeing SF characters drawn. Wouldn't mind having longer in-game cut scenes though (skippable, of course) or maybe a story mode for each character like some other fighter's have.
