Why would anyone ever want to do light or medium Hands? They seem plain worse. At least L and M Gekiro are slightly easier to execute. I can't come up with anything better about L and M Hands, though.

OK, they do knock you backwards more than H Hands when you hit. Is that it?

Ive never read about uses for it so I dont think there is.

More push-back means more push towards the corner. That's about all I can think of.

I'm glad you can use all three of the punches to buffer hands though, otherwise Gen would be kinda ASS to execute with.

the only thing I use it for is if I ever do a cross up/jump in mantis mk, then c.lk, c.lp, c.lk, lp, l.hands>super (buffering hands between c.lk/c.lp) because it feels more comfortable when comboing into super than using the heavy version.

Not that I do this a lot, but welp.

*edit* more commonly I use it as I wrote above but as a block string if it's blocked, since l.hands pushes back further.

this

Against tall characters you can jump in/cross up and hit with a c.lp or c.lk. If you see it hitting them, you can literally mash the shit out of the lp button and rapidly spin the joystick in 360's like a madman and you'll get your hands-cancelled super every time without accidentally jumping or missing the combo like you'd expect to.

I certainly don't condone doing this all the time nor against every character (it simply won't work against a few of them like Blanka), but I'll do this against a Sagat online if I don't want to be robbed by lag or temporary fits of stupid-fingers.
