There was once this great thread by Final Showdown that gave the rundown on Rock. That could've been the 101, I can't find it anywhere.
True question for this thread is though, concerns the teleport glitch and the empty jump ins glitch that Final Showdown mentioned, does anyone remember exactly how these two were done?

I also use Rock in K-groove, and there's a question as to why there are moments when his counters give him meter and others when they don't?

I answered your empty jump question in the other thread.

The teleport glitch is really not practical at all. All it does is have Rock shift but not move behind the opponent. IIRC, if you do a Hard Edge, blocked or not, and then Rage Run Shift right after without having moved or hit a button, Rock would shift and remain in front of the opponent.

Nothing really fancy or useable.

As far as counters go, counters only build Ikari Meter when someone connects a move with the counter - all counters (Geese's, Hibiki's, Yamazaki's, Rock's) all build meter when you perform a successful counter as if they were hit normally without having done the counter.

In Grooves like P, Rock can just whiff counters and build meter.

There are times when rock's counter lands (ie, doesn't whiff - the opponents attack hits it, and is countered) but his meter doesn't build. Reasons?
