So I won't be making it to Evo this year because I couldn't get the time off from work. Whatever. This being the case, I decided to call in sick today so I could play in "Stage 2," the last tournament before Evo. I thought about posting results and stuff like that, but I figure someone else will do that.

Ricky, we're even after your ghetto throw in Castro Valley. Not holding a grudge, just the last time I remember playing you. By the way, good job in SVC.

Choi...Damn you for being the best in these parts. Very good matches, as always. I think I'll stay away from Akuma next time, instead of walking into a combo that takes me from one side of the screen to the other. Oh yeah, not getting dizzy might help too.

Jon C, or N, or B, or whichever Jon went off with P-Groove. Very nice. I miss the A-Groove Chang, though.

Where was Dr. B and his crew? I actually like watching the S-Groove craziness. By the way Buster, sorry about not responding to your PM from the beginning of this year, I wasn't familiar with how this system works. It's a little late now, but had I read it in time, I would've given you a ride. Sorry.

Zhen and Oliver...I got lucky...or was it just Kim? By the way, Oliver gets the credit for my choice of using Kim. He used to beat the crap out of me with him.

Randy shows off to the world his great defense skills, and ability to get thrown 20 times in one match. Its cool though cause ricky was blocking that, its always the games fault, STUPID GAME SHEEEESH. And Steven continued hitting buttons hella hard for no reason, and pissing off the SVGL worker who looks like Collosus. Strider is dope.

ocv highlights, 2 that i know of 1: me vs choi (rc.c.guile) and 2 : zhen vs eric lee (jd.k.kim)

nelson's k bison seemed to be on both sides of the screen at the same time.
eric lee, props, low short pshyco combos,
eric lee vs nelson, never seen jd ass much, they were both raged all the time.

Besides that, It was a good tourney and i had alot of fun. The kim player really made me want to get better execution with my kim, because right now my execution is so poor. Was one of the kim combo short, short, jab, c.forward, qcb mk? I forgot because the whole tournament was blur.

Okay, you East Coast guys talk a lot of shit, and make a big deal out of nothing. We would all probably get along. :D There is no question that the players that dropped out earlier than expected are better than this tourney showed. Everyone seems to be hyping me up, and I ain't even gonna make it to Evo. It's quite funny, though. The Leezy. Haha.

I ain't hatin' on the East Coast. It's all fun and games. In reality, I would love to play you guys, even if you beat the shit out of me. The real problem is that we tend to get owned by the Japanese. It's hard to compete when they're so much more dedicated to the game than we are. Plus, we have no way of really practicing against what they bring everytime. Even if someone could step up and dominate someone like Choi, the Japanese would come over and rape 'em with wacky shit like P-Groove Raiden or Maki or somethin'.

Shady K...I need to play you again and see if Kim still gets owned. You damn SoCal players and your anti-Morrigan everything. SBO qualifiers were fun, but I wasn't ready for that large of an event. Or possibly that noxious of a scent in that small ass room crammed full of dudes. You guys have a very different play style down there, which is probably the same case with the East Coast guys.

I think the Leezy thing is growing on me...Shit, that's a ghetto nickname.

Gunter...The walk up custom doesn't work anymore. I still have a thing for the roll, super against Sagat, though. Still working on that. Hope you're having fun in Japan.

Eric played a REALLY solid tourney at svgl.
He was doing pretty damn well during casual play too I think...

Dunno if he was just having a really good day, or other top players were having a bad day, but in the end, eLeezy came out with 2nd place and that's that.

Can't say whether or not he's top tier or anything, but he should definitely get his props for that crazy ass tourney.
