NICE!!! I had the same idea in a dream a couple of nights ago. So I decided instead of building an arcade machine (upright) why not just get a sit down Jap cab. I have a local arcade that has them in the store so they might sell me one. What I was gonna do is extend out the arcade panel and change out the stick and the buttons (I prefer comp stick and comp buttons) then put artwork all over the fucker. Yeah, and also put in a PS2, X-Box, DC (fuckin of course), and a PC. HEEEEELL No am I putting a GC in it, fuck that system. Thanx.

The pictures aren't as awful as your corny comments.
Just messing with ya.
So how much money would you say you put into this (including systems, cabinet, and equipment)?

Yeah, I am a corny guy. Maybe someday I can win an Oscar or Pullitzer Prize :D
Well, the cab was $400, the converter was $250, the stereo amp and speakers was $80, the mini Neo Geo cab was $300...... damn, thats not including the games, carts, systems, controller converters.... It would take a while to post up all that.
Easily over $1500
Damn, I have spent alot :(

I'm interested in doing the same thing...where did you get the cab? Arcade-Infinity seems to have some for a decent price and what is this converter? It allows you to hook your systems up to a Jamma setup? Where did you get this as well and are you getting RGB-quality display out of your consoles then?
Very impressive indeed...especially that hacked Xbox, makes it a worthwhile system now...I'm interested in that CPS2 setup on it, how exactly did you do it?

When you attend a tournament with a group of friends you tend to NOT get much sleep. There is drinking, partying, eating junk food, fatigue.....it all sets in by they time finals come around. So tournament isnt only a test of skills but of endurance as well :)

Nice collection man. I hope to one day have a set up like that myself. My first step is buying the neo Geo (the old school red one. I am getting that this year) then I plan on building a MAME setup after that.

No i didnt. There isnt a brand or company name on them at all. I sure do like them tho. They are ideal if you have a metal or plexiglass panel. I'll ask NKI

So where did you get your cabinets at, those are pretty cool :). Playing fighting games on my Tekken 5 stick I can see why people like the Japanese sticks alot better, but it took me a while getting used to doing fireball motions with the stick especially trying to do Paul Phoenix's Phoenix smasher. My question to you is if I mod my stick with Sanwa parts, will I feel the difference between what I have now with my Tekken 5 stick and a modded Sanwa stick, or are they about the same?
