Ummm ok. I take 3 games from Yuhin, 4 from some guy, play one of my friends who doesn't even play the game, and then play runaway fob guy to collect 2 wins to win poster...

Umm I don't get to start a post collection, the deal is only on until the poster sale goes away (ends on 22nd).

You have to admit though, it was kind of pointless continuing to play you while you have the dreamcast...especially when you had 3 classes that term when I was carrying a full load.

Are you still trying to be like me and using Rowtron? If you are, then I can show you every unmashable there is with that team. And you can do the typical unmashable with any assist that connects with a long hitstun that doesnt knock the opponent too far away from the Tempest.

And the problem with your Magneto infinite is that you mashed Spiderman combos for too long and now your fingers are just too scrubby to ever improve. :D

Ed loves to say he did better than he did. I sent Ed to the change machine so many times that he gave up on Marvel and lost at 3S too before leaving. He BSed about how he did against JS too. Ed's got nothing. :D That day he comes and starts playing without saying anything to me. I see Combofiend and I'm like hmm this is either JS or Ed - and JS doesnt play anymore. So I win and I get up to see who it is... and there's no one on the other side. Out of the corner of my eye I see Ed's bright red jacket in front of the token machine with him shaking head and cursing to himself haha. Ed's a mad lurker. He's heard of everyone on SRK and even what everyone's AVs are.. but never posts.

It should be noted that Yuhin's Spiderman didn't do squat. I knocked it down to nothing with Runaway Storm, he rowed out to Cable and I got smoked. :bluu:

GGXX was good. Mike's Dizzy is a total scam. He throws out little chompy head, I fire off Criss Cross Chipp Super and hit him but it stops mid Super because of Chompy Head. THIS HAPPENED TWICE! FUCK! :mad:

Steve is a nice guy but he's got NOTHING on the better Toronto players. Case in point, loses to Yuhin who's just subbing in for Mike while he plays me in GGXX. :p

CvS1 is broken. I want a rematch against Yuhin. At least he beat me in a game he gave me 50 cents to play. :lol:

Odds are I'll come up again just after finals are done as my buddy that lives just off campus is there for a summer semester as well so I can crash after playing games. GG's to everyone.

Looks like I'm pretty much guaranteed to be at Cove 9-10:30 on wednesday as well as 10:30-11:30 and 1:30-2:30 on fridays. Those are the pre-designated "g3nn's gonna take your money" times. But dont fret, there'll be lots of unscheduled sessions too (ie anytime the GPS I plant on Clayton tells me that he's at Cove).

The goal for next term? Make Marvel a painful childhood experience for Clayton. :lol: Who wants to contribute?

My advice would be for you to take the morning shift. Because there's no fucking way in hell you're gonna wake up on your own and do your DE work and then come into work once you're done. I almost burst out laughing at that. But you know no one comes in until around 11:30, so take the early shift and do your work at Cove. Two birds with one stone. You're usually just sitting at the computer doing nothing for the first 2 hours of your shift anyway.

What went horribly wrong is this: one of my brown friends, who hangs out at Cove, calls me Naren (this is ok since he's brown, remember). There is still the guarantee of no losses. But with your rules, it just turns a relaxing afternoon of Marvel into a fucking 90min stressfest for me if EVERY game is worth $5 against me. While everyone else can just chill and wait for their next chance at lucking out with one win for $5 and no losses. Your setup is REALLY disadvantageous for me. It's like me betting everyone, all the time. That's not the point of the guarantee.

Thats not the case. The moment someone says they are challenging means that they have forfieted $5 dollars until they actually get a win out of you. There will be no chillout. Everyone will be fighting to get back on the machine with the clock ticking.

Its not like you lose $5 dollars EVERY time you lose, this is a one time thing. The worst that could happen is me, james and maybe fobguy shows up and we all luck out costing you $15 dollars at most. And if Su shows up well, you just got 5 dollars back.

James and Marc should both be able to tell you this themselves: Fob Guy didnt beat me very much if at all after you left and it was actually the reverse.. he was getting toyed with by me a lot of those games. Marc and Su would remember one instance in particular where they were on the floor laughing when I won half a game without blocking and just calling assists. Fob Guy was not giving me much trouble after those first few games. And even still Fob guy's Magneto is only getting away with being able to mash out of Tempests himself, but while everyone else cant on those sticks. I will give credit to James who beat me quite handily at times. But I wouldnt have played Rowtron vs Scrub if the games counted for anything. To me it was just an opportunity to practice a weaker matchup that I havent had much chance to this term.
