Yes, Fall is over. Starting a new season, let's keep posting\flaming up in huuurrrrr

Updates of the fall... ( No chronoligical order or anything like that )

- mmmm we pwned Calgary in the latest tourney in CvS2 (thnx to team edmonton ) and S3 ( thnx to mahir ) and lost at MvC2 ( way to go joser and azn_skater_tortured_homosexual for not showing up at all )
- Paul is not from edmonton anymore.
- Seattle flaming has been up a knotch with solid insults and also attracted few heaty seattle people too. So keep them crying boys.
- Another big calgary tourney coming up , getting ready for that bad boy. Hopefully Seattle people will show up too.

Now Edmonton personalls :

- Matt : Got uglier , still jobless , schoolless , still virgin.
- Calvin : More virginer than ever. ( didnt think it was possible , but this guy did it ) Addicted to FFXI and now he is in love with donairs ( which metaphors to male meat , also arabic , i am scared )
- Kevin : I didnt see him for months , word in the street is he made a shield and an armor out of paper and making plans to take over Katsura's.
- Mai : He says he has a girlfriend , and he also says she is a human being but we all know she probably is just another goldfish. Also made his 90823094823th come back to CvS2 after he quit.
- Fritz : Only getting older

People who have really been improving: Matt and Calvin. seriously! Matt now picks good teams and groove and wants to get better for Jan's Tourney and is already improving, i think i saw some RC's in my face! And If Cal would actually pick a team, it would be beneficial, lol. As well, Mixblender is interested in gettin good as well. And rumor has it Fidz has freed up more of his time and is gonna get good as well. The mid tier is rising.

Friday night CC was fun , i shouldnt of lost to calvin but it's hard to bring him down for me cuz he is hella way too tall and some kinda stretchy legs , he wouldnt get down but i give him mad props for good move he pulled on me , I hope you enjoyed that win calvin because that was the first and the last one u'll ever get again. Orbit is the best fucking arcade I've been to in my life! I'm typing from one of their computers now.

The American sticks at Metro aren't very good, but Orbit's Japanese sticks are fine. Mahir's not doing well at either arcade.. can't dragon punch consistently. I'm doing alright though. The 3S here is pretty nice; I'll learn a lot here. Got several wins on YellowS4, but I think I was just lucky.

We played casual CvS2 at Roger's house last night. Mahir and Roger are on the same level, though Mahir squeezed out a couple more wins. I did alright too, suprisingly. Roger hates P-Groove and Vega. *nod to wolfy*

lets take a look at every single time he's won in a tourney:
the only times starving marvin has ever beaten me has been when i've been extremely rusty/tired, as opposed to the little shitstain locking himself in a basement with his anal monkeys for a week plus. :lol:

why dont we take a look at the calgary tourney? both of us had "come back" from not playing much (me to play the winnepeger for bills, him to come out of retirement for the 28475th time).

he put me in the losers because the stick i was using wouldnt do qcfs. 3 times in a row. when my cammy had full k. not to mention rick's mas stick was stuck on autofire.

then i beat him in winners finals, and we both agreed that sticks were shit, especially the one side. of course, the little shitstain's ego and your fatss retarded short-term memory probably dont remember, but everyone else in calgary remembers me offering the little faggot choice of side for the second set. he declined, several times.

you do the math. why would i offer to let him CHOICE of sticks without flipping for the second set, and why would he decline so much? clue: we both knew that regardless of shit sticks and resulting shit execution i was playing BETTER than him. my footsies were better and my reflexes were better and he could not handle my rushdown. almost every single one of my losses on the shit side were close, and i knew i could score a win or two in the next set.

but of course the little pussy declined, so we decided we were going to finish the matches in etown. of course, once i get back, i got in a big fight with my gf, never even touched cvs2 for the entire week and did not sleep the night before the final set cuz we were patching up and i frankly did not care about $20, whereas the little shitstain went to the stinky lair to train hardc0re for a week straight, probably going to a spa or some shit to loosen up his faggy ass for all the joystick action.

Actually I never got to play "Meehar" and A bunch of people were able to beat him. I've said who I am before, you should know. As for the matches I posted, the match vs Ian was fun but hardly indicative of either of them playing their best. Mahir played far better against C-Royd in Grand Finals and Ian normally plays far better. He's a very strong K Groove player who normally places high (like top 3) in Toronto tournaments and did very well (I think placing 9th at ECC8) at his first major.

I thought Mahir was a strong player but hardly unstoppable. I played him in the first round of the tournament and came within a single hit of beating him 2 - 0 but played dumb and lost 2 - 1. Hey, live and learn. Anyway, I'm a rock solid player but hardly anywhere near the top rung of Toronto players and still nearly got the job done.

I can understand a good feud between what appears to be the two top players in Edmonton but why all the negativity? Mahir was nothing but respectful when he was over here. I was surprised so see so much shit talk in this thread.

Hey, live and learn. Anyway, I'm a rock solid player but hardly anywhere near the top rung of Toronto players and still nearly got the job done.

I can understand a good feud between what appears to be the two top players in Edmonton but why all the negativity? Mahir was nothing but respectful when he was over here. I was surprised so see so much shit talk in this thread.

this is about mahir coming back from TO and saying how some of the best of edmonton could not compare to the worst TO players. it's about mahir pumping himself up on a game that he's actually not very good at.

frankly, mahir sucks, and he wont beat me in any sets again if his life depended on it. he's not going to have "fortunate circumstances" like what happened @ the last calgary tournament during, say, NWC if his pussy ass goes.

as for his "respectful" act - that's all it is, an act. if you've had him and his faggot posse around the city for as long as we have you'd know what its all about. we're talking about some little bitch that's not man enough to talk shit straight out, but rather talks smack through that fat mouthpiece of his, paul. we're talking about someone with potter luck when it comes to cvs2 that has "retired" more than 3 times, with almost all of those times being complete fluke wins based on out-of-match circumstances (again, if you knew what happened last tourney, you'd understand), and with mahir each time saying he's "retiring" cuz he has "no challengers" when in fact everyone knows he's scared to lose, got lucky on a win, and purposely doesnt play so he can shit talk people for months without backing shit up.

step back and think for a minute, if he were such a gracious winner, why do i have far more support than him, where as all he has is his assbuddy paul and their fellow assclowns? it's certainly not because of my charming posts or great temperament.

its cuz mahir spouts shit that he's the best and untouchable in edmonton, whereas the truth is he's at best decent and circumstantially luck and at worst scrubby as fuck. which is also why all of us knew how much shit mahir n' paul were talking to pump themselves up (in comparison to rest of edmonton) when he was in TO - to suck up to you guys and make them feel some feeling of acceptance and greatness, none of which they have earned here.

I already made it clear that Ian wasn't playing as well as he could have. I didn't say he was sandbagging or not taking it seriously, only that he wasn't on his best game that day and it showed in those videos. He struggled in those matches and lost three straight to C-Royd in losers finals. More often than not he's a far better player than those matches indicate.

Your ability to Roll Cancel doesn't determine how good a player you are. There are lots of strong Toronto players (and hell, players from all over) that are very good players without needing RC to save them over and over.

You haven't proven anything. All you've done is flame Ian for not playing well and insult me (you're welcome to pause and take a shot at me, you'd be on the floor pretty fast). Paul obviously overstated the the skill level of Toronto (at least in comparison to your players in Edmonton). However, if you feel so strongly about your skill level, post some matches up for us to see.

We've only encountered three players from Edmonton thus far. Jon was a solid player but not extraordinary. Mahir was pretty much the same though better. Paul didn't enter CvS2 and got peaced out in 3S IIRC. In the case of both Jon and Mahir, they were toted as very high level players coming into Toronto and neither were at the level of JS Master or Roger Williams by a long shot. I can only assume that there are others (Mirage excluded as he's made his position clear) that are superior to Mahir and Jon and we just haven't seen them yet. Well, i was really hyped up for these vids to see why i got fuckin trashed by "Neehar", and i got one word "lamesauce". I KNOW Mahir is better than that on experience, and i can believe that arcadekid is better than that as well, because as the matches progressed, his JDing got better (not excellent, but better) and Mahir's CC execution was ass.

As for Nagata Lock, im sure you have a feather in your cap by almost beating him. Almost doesnt count for shit.. i came within pixels of beating INO at Evo, but i dont cash that in like you would have.

Roger is an amazing player, but how can you compare when they played, Roger had his MAS or whatever, and all mahir had was a DC pad... RCing and CC's are pretty easy on those things i hear :| Im not saying whether or not he would win/lose, but that's nother cheque you shouldnt cash.

Bottom line, Roger and JS Master are amazing players, but the Tdot crowd hides behind them. I believe that Edmonton's top 5 > Toronto's top 5.

i thought fritz said it doesn't mean dick if u come close? I almost beat Justin Wong in mvc2 but it doesn't mean shit. BTW some of our cvs2 players played ino back in philly and did pretty good vs him too...but of course, it doesn't matter does it?

If the purpose of the post wasn't to flame then you shouldn't have done so in the first place. There are means of making a point without calling people *** and making obvious empty threats to them.

You're the one with no fucking clue about Toronto players. How the hell do you know if any of them RC or not? Roger, Eric, Ken, Dennis (or lord Dennis), Gerjay, Jason Ma, the list goes on RC on a regular basis and do a damn good job of it. Again, it doesn't mean they win all of their matches. RC isn't the penultimate strategy of CvS2 and can be countered with patience and an understanding of the principles behind it.

No one made excuses for Ian. All that was said was he didn't play as well as we've seen in the past. Maybe he did choke, but that's all relative to who's watching. None of you guys should be dogging his game though considering NONE OF YOU have played him before and your whole basis for how well he plays is based on four matches out of hundreds if not thousands. If you're going to make an arguement, try not to be ignorant in your statements.
