Alright i'll start it.. i'll save up 20 k and start it up.. by the way i made the SICKEST shot in gb today lol.. me and james were in a 2v2 and we were kicking ass but we both had no life left and they would have won if i didnt make this shot because they would have killed us both at the same time.. anyways james had been working on killing this one guy and i was going for the other but he was still at more than half health.. so i had no chance of beating him in 1 turn.. then on the other hand.. james had his guy he was facing on the complete other side of the map with 24 wind against me and 3 fucking hurricanes in my face lol.. so i take a shot.. through all 3 hurricanes and nail him dead on! sickest shot ever! lol :cool: :) :lol:

1) crunch time shot, if he missed we woulda lost
2) 3 fucking tornados in his way!!! 3!!!!!
3) direct shot that gave him 1k damage bonus
4) 24 wind in his face plus he was using boomer (boomer very sensative to wind)

They made some changes to gunbound. Turtles mobility has dropped ALLOT, i saw this fuck up a couple people today. Also when you drop, you no longer next up, you get 5th spot, which is bull shit. Nop idea if there were any other changes, those were the 2 i noticed. oh yea, you can now buy avatar items with real curency, except for the really leet 1st.

lol yea ice is good for money.. i spent 120 000 on gear that increases my money 50%.. its paying off. So if you do ice i recomend that you spend some money and get as much stats into money as u can. I get like 1600+ every ice tag round and about 12 - 1300 if i lose.

Team Sauga; do you want your players to run five straight or do you want to face us five straight?

Example: Matt vs Justin, Matt vs Jason, Matt vs Byron, Matt vs Steve, Matt vs Pete.

OR

Matt vs Justin, Jason vs Justin, Alex vs Justin, Shu vs Justin, Anant vs Justin.

There are obviously up and down sides to either choice (mainly in the ways momentum can affect your play) so you guys can talk it over and decide which way you want.

I can't speak for my teammates but I have zero problem playing my matches on the 2P side EXCEPT when I face Gerjay because he's too big and bumps my shoulder every time we play. I'm convinced he does it to fuck up my execution. So yeah, outside of Gerjay, I'll play my matches on the 2P side.

you played the machine on sat.

the machine be abuse by buttone smashing scrub at lunch time on mon and tues. the machine only will get worse by this sat, if they don;t fix it.

another reason why it busted so easily. ppl think they can fix the problem by hitting the machine really hard. sometmes itworks. other times make it worse.

Also, for what needs to be fix they most likely have to replace, completely replace... 3 buttons. IT took them nearly 3 months or more to replace marvel hk and assist 2 buttons. They're too cheap to pay a few bucks to get new buttons.

As for this tourney, it went as expected. I lost to Teddy in winner's semi, Matt lost to Bry. I beat out James then Matt and was 2-1 against Bry in losers finals. Teh match came down to my something and Cable with about quarter health I think against his Sent with almost no health. When it got to Cable vs. Sent, he tried to stomp and I did super jump lp, fp, AHVB... my fp missed and I lost. Then I just got destroyed the match after that. ggs to all in this tourney.


As for 5 on 5. I'll post after the Justin log.

Outside of the odd autojab, the CvS2 machine ran fine during the 5 on 5 (my experience at least). I have no idea why anyone is complaining about the MvC2 machine, it ran perfectly for me yesterday and I don't recall hearing anyone gripe about it. 3S is a different story. That's probably the worst machine I've ever played on for any fighting game and that includes the horrible ST machine you guys had last year.

I think tournaments and stuff like yesterday's 5 on 5 come down to how much fun you can have with it. The Marvel scene is pretty big in Sauga right now so a lot of folks came out to have a good tourney and tune up for the MvC2 5 on 5. The CvS2 5 on 5 was just about putting skills against each other. No big money, no big set of trash, just playing hard and enjoying yourself.

BTW; I'm definitely looking forward to the MvC2 5 on 5. That easily the big draw for me coming (even above CvS2) and I hope it turns out as well as our 5 on 5 yesterday.

We need to set a date for the people who want to challenge spots on the team. Looks like we're goin to have to run it at skybox due to the fact we only have 1 mass that works.

I say we run it like this:

You can challenge 2 people on the team to a 3-5 set, winner gets the spot.

The people who got nocked off the team can then challenge any 1 person to regain there spot. Those that get nocked off (if there are any) should only get 1 chance to avoid scams. if there were two chances for the loosers some thing like this could happen: Matt looses to Jordan. Matt chalenges bry, bry looses on purpose, bry nocks j off the team.

And no complaints if some one gets nocked off the team about sticks, the time we played ect...The arcade scene is a democracy, and those that win in this tournament thing should be the ones going, its that simple.

And by your logic the arcade scene is an autocracy. I'm not even goin the the tourny (not here) but i still want a shot at the team. Figured I would drop a few thoughts on this whole team issue:

Havren; while it's understandable where you're coming from, I don't think you're really in a place to be criticizing the team. You're a good player but you've shown zero commitment to entering tournaments or making dates when you said you'll show (see the last METRO tournament for a recent example). If you can't make the team, why criticize the members that are committed to going?

I'm not sure if Jordan reads this site but I'll leave a simple criticism. He's not as good as any of the five players that are representing Sauga. Placing Jordan in a position to get an off chance (and it would be off chance considering how often he's beaten) only places Team Sauga in a position of having a member who they know isn't up to par representing because he had a better day than usual or the other member had a worse day than usual.

I've said it before and I'll re-iterate. Stick with the team you have and train/practice. You want to win so learn from each other and take that knowledge into the 5 on 5. Look at what happened this weekend. Team BCC won, and we didn't win by much but I'll tell you right now if Byron, Jason and I weren't learning new stuff playing each other we'd have been punked off and lost by a pretty good margin. It pays off to practice with your teammates so stop argueing and start training.

Bringing the characters i use into this is not vailid at all, and more a jab at me than any thing else. I'll use 3 of the top 4 in any tourny, just because i'm not good with magneto doesn't mean i have no skill. And i am being as fair as possible, if we had mass i would play on those too, but we dont.
