What are some of the stupid things that you hear when you beat someone to a bloody pulp?

1. My (insert relative or friend here) would beat the shit out of you in this game!
2. Hey, thats CHEAP!
3. No throwing! throws are for newbies! (got that 2 nights ago on zbattle in mk2)
and my personal fav, comes up FAR more often than you would think...
4. Stop blocking!

people love to bitch about buttons and sticks also, but only if they're losing of course. and then we'll go into the diagnostics and everything works perfectly.

oh yeah, i love it in cvs2 how if somebody gets thrown they'll mash the jab button like if they mash hard enough, they'll magically regain the life they lost for getting thrown. even though they should just be double tapping fierce to tech throw...

I'll play my nephew in A3 and sometimes use A-Bison or A-Dhalsim(my main ones are A-Gen, A-Gief and A-Sakura) and as you know playing a distance game with them is how they are supposed to be played. I'll be taking chunks of stamina off while moving around and countering attacks and then he'll say "Is that the only way you know how to play?" I always answer that with "you mean the way to win a match? Yep, that's the only way I know how to play".

I did get sick of dudes challenging me again and again till you finally lose and you have to walk away from the machine after one guy and his 5 friends kept fighting you after your epic 15 or so straight wins.

And the only reason you lose is because you get sloppy from bordem. And you have to walk away from the machine because you're poor and you haven't got any change.

If I lose I challenge once more to see if I've learnt from my mistakes. Then pay my respects and hit the road. If I'm lucky I might see the dude some other time and challenge him again. Not that I win that much anymore. My Vs mojo got FAR to sloppy after playing the computer for too long. Challengers are few and far between in Kiwi arcades. I can't wait till we get a live verison comes on PS2, if ever.

Anyone else think that playing the computer too much makes you sloppy?

My favorite (which I get EVERY day, BTW), is "You grab too much." This, of course, comes from the guy who loses the most to me. Everybody that fares a little better against me doesn't say anything. This is in 3s, btw. I've played against this dude almost every day for weeks, and he KNOWS I throw a lot, but it seems to me, if you know I'm going to throw, all you have to do is try to throw me instead and at least you'll tech hit. =\

Slightly off topic, you know you're kicking ass when the regulars at your arcade won't talk to you and when they finally beat you (after about 6-8 wins or so), whoever is next in line takes their quarter off and lets you play again because he doesn't want to play his buddy. :lol:

looking for any 2d fighter. 2 my surprise wow! putt putt has mvc2. only played @ home but i got the mechanics down. got up to the shitty controls. (by the way putt putt has the shittiest mvc2 controls. yes u putt putt on midlothian turnpike in richmond,va!) i put in my 2 tokens & picked hayato, wolvie & spidey(don't care if they're not the best players. i like them). started waxing the kid. his 4 friends watched(an mvc "beast" they called him). beat him & his friends in 5 rotations(math: 5x5 25 wins). all of them talking about my strats & tacts & my weaknesses for about 20mins @least. finally got beat 1 time & they start chanting that i suck & i shouldnt touch the game while pointing & laughing....i just grabbed my jacket & left.

damn shame...the scrub & his nonplaying dick-riders think theyve actually accomplished something.

IN svc chaos in that piece of shit game you can use a throw as a move, Simply somebody jump kicks you you can dash cancel and throw him. That game is weak in that department,, is not the only one.

I don't really go to arcades anymore. However, when I did, I always went to this one run-down shithole of an arcade because it was within walking distance. I used to play MvC2 there all the time, and I was somewhere in between the levels of "scrub" and "good." I lost more than I won but I more or less knew what I was doing.

ANYWHO, the arcade's operator/owner was a real piece of work. He'd yell at little kids for asking how much a game costed, he'd lie about being out of change, and he'd ban people for no real good reason. I didn't really like the guy but I was always polite to him because I used to work in an arcade and I know that it really sucks ass.

So one day I'm playing MvC2 against the computer because I'm waiting to meet some friends at the mall and I don't feel like dying in Raiden 2 because the machine is in a state of disrepair and certain directions don't respond. I picked Strider/Doom/Blackheart, because it was the only real team I could pick and play semi-efficiently with. The arcade operator comes over and plays. I forget who he picked but I'm certain they were characters commonly considered top-tier (Sentinel, Cable, Storm, Spiral, etc.). He plays. And loses. And plays. And loses. And starts swearing. He walks away.

This continued for a while. Me playing, and him losing. In fact, he only ever beat me once, six months after his "tantrum" (see below) when I hadn't played MvC2 in, well, six months. Once. That's it.

But I'm skipping ahead a bit. Back to the tantrum. I forgot if I picked Strider/Doom/Blackheart or Mags/Cable/Cyclops that day (probably the former). He proceeded to play. He lost repeated, and every time he swore and cursed louder and louder. Eventually as the losses piled up, he grabbed his stick and rotated it violently, shaking the whole machine. One more loss and he did the same thing and walked away.

Now I don't deal with hostility well. And this guy seemed just a little insecure and, if I may say so, unstable. So, I will admit, I was more than a little scared. As he walked away, I didn't really feel like playing anymore. I offered him my game, saying I had to go. This one guy who works there as a bouncer type dude decided to step to me in CvS2, but I didn't recognize him because he wasn't in his work clothes, anyway I RAPE him with team BAS (all the while he's screaming curses), anyway he walks away and gets ready to punch in so he gets on his work stuff and I see him in the bathroom (btw this guy is scary and talks just like Mike Tyson, and looks like him a bit oo), and he gives me this big speech on how the game is called "Street Fighter" and I shouldn't trap him in the corner or throw alot. I was scared, because he said "Where I'm from, you do that shit, and you learn a lesson...and you don't do it again" . Frightened, I tryed to make amends with the guy and listen to his BS, then I walked out. After this I realized I own this guy all the time but I didn't know it was him, also I know why the same guy hates me so much, and is always the 1st person to kick me out after 11 (when they kick minors out).

When I started to play Chang in CvS2, I'd always throw out Choi's HCF+K before rushing in. Amazingly, some people didn't know how to block it, and I'd follow up with a two-hit fierce combo. One person actually tried to kill Choi and lost focus of what I was doing, and when I beat him, he was like:

I've witnessed about 2 years of this stuff in some crappy run down arcade.

I played some dude who uses Ken SA2, known to attack lots and use repeated patterns, particularly low forward -> hadouken. There would be times where I would parry both of these, and would shout pretty loudly "YOU LUCKY FUCK!". To be honest, his obvious attack pattern doesn't make it that hard to see it coming.

I've played 3s for a long time now, but it doesn't mean that practice frequently. I'm sure many of you are the same :) Like myself, I'm sure you've been slandered numerous times about being so dedicated to one game not having a life etc. etc., I've often heard excuses from scrubs saying "You've been practicing haven't you? Don't lie. This game is your life blahblahblah" (as if I ever needed to... lol).

There was one time where I managed to rack up a huge 23 wins with .... TWELVE :D There were about 7 or 8 other people at the time, all using shotos (mainly Ken SA2), and all I did was air-dash poke and the odd EX-NDL. I was hearing things like "STOP JUMPING!", "Your style is so shit", "Twelve is meant to be fucking shit". Hell, someone even thought that I was proper taking the piss and ruining the fun for everyone :xeye:

I can go on and on, like the time when peeps thought makoto was shit cos she didn't have a fireball .. :lame:

Oh, and the infamous "Where's the parry?" and "That's BULLSHIT" quotes are amongst one of the most popular :lol:

Reality wise there is no cheap playing cus they made the game(CVS2) to counter alot of stuff but if not u got 2 figure out the guy your playing. One thing though some of these players love to throw and it gets a person all wild up when your being tossed around constantly.
