just for those that are interested about what happened today (mainly Fred, Mana, and Den) ... T.O. came aournd 9-10 pm and it was fun playing against them. In cvs2, our top players played better than theirs, R1beatdown played only once, it was against Veas, veas was the winner.
In mvc2, overall, their skills are a bit better than ours, especially their Cables, I went like 50/50 against them, but you know, it's casual play. I still think Samnang will rape everybody and 2 or 3 of our guys will place top5.

It was funny hearing that *** Prez today, when I lose he'll be like .. omg T.O. owns ninja sentinel BLAH BLAH BLAH, but when I win and look at his freakin face, he tries to ignore me and pretend to watch cvs2 :bluu: what an idiot and what a fuckin hater :mad:
I hope he doesn't even place top3 (*starts praying*) :lol: :lol:

in 3s, they own, but nobody from our top5 players challenged them.

The tourney was fun ( But the brackets were confusing at times :P ) and we actually played on that crappy cabinet, but the sticks ain't as bad as they used to be IMO... For those who care about mvc2, here are some notes :

- First of all, where was all the mvc2 players hiding ? WTF ? there was only 10 participants :bluu:

winners bracket :
- Jonstar raped John 2-0 first round
- Seb beat Rene
- Samnang beat Roger
- Alex beat Jiggabry
- I lost to Jonstar 2-1, but I could have won if I didn't mess up mag's infinite so many times :mad: I still can't believe how I gave away the first match :bluu: I at least pulled some Sentinel exhibition combos :p
- Seb beat JS master
- Alex beat Seb
- Samnang beat Jonstar 2-0 including almost a perfect game
- Alex beat Samnang 3-2 in the winners finals

losers bracket :
- JS master beat Jiggabry
- I beat Roger
- Seb beat me 2-1, I wasn't really into our matches, especially our first match where I wasn't thinking at all, plus I got counter picked both games I lost. Anyways, GG seb, I haven't had a lot of practice against characters that counter mine and you took advantage of it. I wish I've faced somebody from T.O. or Sauga instead.
John beat JS master
- Jonstar beat John again 2-0, but this time, John played better.
- Jonstar beat Seb, then Samnang 3-2.

The grand finals score was 4-3 for Alex, it was so funny hearing comments made by the spectators :lol: especially Will's "c qui cet homme ?" which is a funny translation of "who's this guy ?" :lol: :lol:

No T.O. players went to the arcade on sunday, infact there was a winners final, losers final and Grand final played on the the sticks after the last T.O. player (JS Master) played on it.


And no one was scared because no one plays the fucking game.

Awesome......it odd because I was talking to the staff in dartmouth and we were dicussion among other stuff, what games we would want to see here and outrun 2 came out among others like Fzero, kof2k3, GGXX and some other random stuff( really we have a crap load of old gun games which they need to pass on or something:confused:

Also some SCII tournys might pop up if I can get a smooth plan going...I;ve never run one and don't want to run it I want to play em:), but they said they had 30 plus for the last one but it was single elim...I don't know anything on rounds/settings etc..:rolleyes: All I know for sure I guess is the machine will be pay for play. how do you guys run tournys up there for fees and such?
While this whole discussion was going on I scored MK:DD for GC for under 3 bucks in play!!!:eek: :eek: out of this interesting prize machine which had all kinda of games and stuff, I'll nab a shot of that next time if anyone might have seen it before:D

Last night I played socom2 with prez,jfl, and martin. It was so much fun, martin played until 3am, prez until about 5am, and me and jfl till 9am. I think jfl even stayed longer. That guy may not play SF anymore, but he's still a hardcore gamer.

We might play tonight too, I'm leaving wednesday morning btw..
