Also, one round came down to almost no life. Full Screen. Schwenke does an EX Fireball, Makoto does EX Hayate Rush right through it, and knocks Ken out, then she gets hit by the tail end of the fireball.

after heavy thinking and taking this necessary break, i've finally decided to come back.....after reading all of your posts, it made me realize how much you fuckers really care, proving to me that SG is a family.....to be honest, my life has been a living hell for the past couple of weeks, dealing with family, friends, and other prominent issues.....but after talking to several people (not SG people either) they have finally convinced me that going to SG does not mean just playing MvC2, but to be around my homies, as a family......me quiting made me realize several things:

1. i was a sore loser
2. i was too determined to the point where it totally consumed me and my time, blinding me from everything else.
3. i made many promises to other people including myself, and i am known for being a man of my word.
4. i let a LOT of people down.
5. my work is not done here, walking away from a project that was givin to me makes me a failure, and i allowed that to happen once in my lifetime and i still regret it to this day
6. my sis said i was a sore loser :lol:
7. finally, i've made it this far and to just throw it all away is against what i believe, and what i stand for


if i'm going to end this chapter in my life, it shouldn't be on a bad note...and besides, if i just throw it all away now, i surely won't be prepared for the next chapter of life....i still have many goals to accomplish, but only with the help of you guys and me taking a different approach will it only happen......

oh well, such is life.......i'm human though so what do you expect.....when i was hungry, you gave me something to eat, when i was thirsty, you guys gave me something to drink....for that, you shall surely be rewarded.......see you guys tonight.....i'll be available for more questioning if you wish to see me.....

I had a lot of fun this weekend... the drives there and back were somethng close to torture (besides the four-hour-long meta-physical discussions), but all the games I played made it worth it. I have to give the most props to Jummpee, though. That guy really impressed me... placing that high with ROUGE, and Cable/Cyclops/Capcom... both of his main teams are not even considered top tier teams by most and he did really well... I was really surprised to see someone play as smart as he did. IMO he played better than rashan, just the character selection made up for the difference, IMO. You just played solid defence and waited for me to mess up, which worked perfectly... I haven't had a match that good in a very long time. Good game, and congrats on your CvS2 win.

Here's what you do:

Throw that piece of shit in the trash, and make a new stick. You could probably modify the XArcade controller port/adaptor to get the +5v for the P360 but it'd be more trouble than it's worth.

The payout is more like a bet.

You challenge other teams and play them for money.

Played about 5 minutes of kof2003 on emu. I gotta say that its pretty fun so far. Switching characters on the fly gives it a mvc2 feel almost. It really feels like a team game now. I didnt play it enough to say much else except yamazaki's animation is hella kwazy and clone kyo is a cheap boss with the run up autoguard dps :mad: .

if so, i don't recall ever giving any green light to a Halo console tourney during TS4. plus there's no way to accomodate another tournament AFTER the others are finished because it will be too late. we're gonna be pressed for time and space as it is, so i don't see any possibility for it.

-how many people show up for each tourney
-how long the tourneys go on
-how many games actually get thrown
-how crowded it is during the entire day
-how many people are still around after various tourneys end
etc., etc.

it's gonna be a tough and busy weekend.
