Hello people I know I've never posted here before but I was wondering if anyone knows where the 2000+ in laval is? They closed the one at cote des Neiges and there's just like 2000+ Downtown Mira and Pinocchio left and both 2000+ and Pinocchio's MVC2 arcades suck as hell the controls are broken and there are no challenger and as for mira I live in Laval so Im too lazy to go all the way to Cote Vertu.

Well I live In laval near Henri Bourassa!:bluu: So cote vertu IS really too far for me plus the mvc2 arcade is broken I went today (only bcuz my dad gave me a lift)

Smokey: There is a reason we don't know much about Laval arcades. Nobody good plays there for it to be known, there is probably no competition for SF games anyways. Are you even sure they have MvC2? Even if they did, you will most probably be playing against the computer only.

Let me break it down for you:

If you want the best competition in Montreal for any SF game, come to Mira.

If you want to play on broken machines and/or against funny scrubs, go to Lanjeu or Amusement 2000+.

Let me break it down for you:

I back that up totally :) even for ggxx its great competition. Mira is the best place yet. 2000+ is a great place to play if your new to arcade machines and stuff. The scrubs there wont be you too easily, unless im there on the ggxx machine :cool:

Poul3t ;p anytime le rematch. Jai jouer a ggxx reload pis potemkin est un peu mieux, a part son air super. Sol a ete regulariser ;) et est moins cheap quavant :p enfin! :lol:

I was planning to do a tournament, but I don't know how many people feel like showing up. If we do want one, when do you guys think is the best time to have it?

Also, in regards to tournaments outside Montreal I think a few of us are planning to attend ECC.

GG Isuka ca va rocker bin trop. Faut jaille un bon partner pis ma tuer tout le monde :P mouahaha lol Mon friend a vu le boss dla fin ca lair stune grosse bibitte toute fucker. mais ya perdu le video.

La bar de robo marche avec des block. Tu fait down+D pis ca fait un spot a terre qui illumine quand t dedans ca recharge 3-4 block o debut. pis 2 environ vers la fin. Chaque move de robo prend 1 block. donc faut recharger tout le temps. En plus ta un autre bar. Que quand tattack de plus en plus pis tu fait des move ca monte. Faut tu face foward + HS pis ca fait un steam release, qui fait du damage et qui baisse ta bar. C cool. jaime mieux reload :P c plus balancer. pis ya plus de FRC. Sauf que ceux de potemkin son inutile mais tk. Cest nice pareil.

Usualy we put it at 3$
On Special ocasion 5-10$
So since it will be a normal tourney 3$ entry fee Pay to play meaning you have to pay ur own games.So it will be 3$ + more money to pay for your games.

Sorry Nadir if it took me a long time to reply but i've been overly busy during the past couple of days due to my hectic work environment,my schedule and what not. Anyhow i should think that my friend is done watching the DVD by now. I can surely lend it to you for a while but on 1condition though: that you don't start giving it to other people for whatever reason without letting me know because it just makes it very hard to keep track of whose possession the dvd is in. I dont want to have to ask around to find out who has it. The only problem though is that i don't go to arcades anymore (or at least not not a often as i used to) so you either have to come in my area (which isn't a great distance from where you live) to get it or you can tell me when you're going to be at 2000+ and i'll try to swing by if time permits. I'll try carry it in my bag at all time just in case we happen to have a chance meeting. Anyhow let me know

Yeah, 2000+ is the only arcade in Montreal with two CvS2 machines and one is ALWAYS broken. So what's the point in having two machines?

Écoutez je suis 1 des seul régulier de 2000+ a poster ici, même si tout le monde est souvent en désacord avec moi je vais me risquer a dire que je préfère ET DE LOIN les manettes de 2000+ (Quand elles marchent bien évidamment et cela arrivent parfois :p ). Je ne suis pas un joueur de haut calibre (et par " haut calibre" je parles du top 5 ou 10 de MTL), mais quand je joue contre des joueurs de "haut calibre" je tire mon épingle du jeux assez régulièrement. Par le fait même je suis très pointilleux sur les manettes en général. Le moindre changement dans mes habitudes de jeux, changent drastiquement la qualité général de mon gameplay et surtout de mon JustDefend, c'est pourquoi certain d'entre vous trouvent ca drôle quand je préf;ere jouer avec un Banc a Mirra, j'ai tjrs été habituer a être assis a 2000 et vous debout a Mirra :confused: . C'est un GROS DÉFAUT pour un joueur d'arcade je sais.... :D Cé mon problême.

Par exemple, avant quand il y avait des tournois a Pino je participais presque jamais parceque j'étais VÉRITABLEMENT incapable d'exécuter quoi que ce soit sur ces stick mou dégueulasse :lol: . J'avous que les manettes de Mira sont de TRÈS bonne qualité cepandant il y a des changement qui m'empêche de jouer a mon meilleur, exemple la tablette des manettes est droite tandis que normalement il y a une inclinaison qui facilite (pour moi) le rush down ou les doubles "dash" avec Morrigan etc etc...
Donc pour les paris contre toi Nagen je préfèrerais a 2000+. MAIS je peux tjrs faire une exception pour jouer a Mira et prendre mais counter-caracter contre toi et faire some EASY-MONEY !!!! I do have to say, 2000+ is a shitty ass arcade. Not only are the CvS2 machines always broken, every other cabinet for a decent fighting game is shit too.

If the owner of the arcade actually cared, he would do something but obviously he is too stupid to notice.

I remember when a repair man came to fix the CvS2 machines, one machine had broken buttons and the other one had a broken stick. He looked at the first machine with broken buttons and moved around the stick and said it was fine, without checking the buttons. People were playing on the second CvS2 machine so he didn't even bother to look, and he just left. :lol:

The one good thing about 2000+ is that there are lots of people who play CvS2, so there is lots of challenger. Too bad the machines are always broken.

Note: Tournament in 2 weeks, tell all your friends~!

I swear to god I'll break those gay ass light bulbs above the A3 machine next time. It didn't bother Mao as much cause he's short but its damn annoying for us taller players. And it makes the arcade look very ugly.

ECC9 is confirmed.. MvC2, ST, 3S, GGXX (console), CVS2 (maybe on console), + unofficial tournaments (like A3).

I'm guessing he wants CVS2 on console cause they only have one cab or something, let me know what you think and I'll tell him.

ECC is a 6-7 hour drive.. MWC is 16 hours, so I don't think I'll go to MWC unless I go by plane or something.
